The article provides the results of the research into the high-frequency electromagnetic radiation influence on polyvinyl chloride based polymeric piping coatings as well as forecasting how radiation can affect adhesion. It also exhibits the improvement of materials efficiency leading to longer service and higher reliability of piping systems. A calculation method for temperature changes and distribution across the coated material under the influence of microwave radiation has been developed which is required to establish the most appropriate polymer treatment techniques.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
