Biliary drainage and X-rays have been d singly and together in the diagnosis of gall bladder dieease. Data from two sets of patients were statistically analyzed using log-linear analysis of cont$gency tablea. The results of the study show that "biliary drainage" is dependent of "X-ray" and "Pathology"; abnormal X-ray ia eseociated with abnormal pathology. Thus, biliary drainage ie not of such value aa to base surgery on it alone. However. X-rays are of significant value in the diagnoaia of the gall bladder disease and to decide whether a eurgery ia needed or not.
