Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process using ERNiCrMo-3 filler metal. It is commonly used in nuclear industries where the weldments are usually subjected to hot corrosion. Devendranath Ramkumar et al. (2015) proposed that weldment between Inconel 718 and AISI 430, using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding obtained from ER2553 and ERNiCrMo-4 fillers and that suggested and brought into the base metals for accumulate numerous benefits in terms of metallurgical and mechanical properties for aerospace and nuclear sectors. Devendranath Ramkumar et al. (2015) studied and reported about corrosion behavior of AISI 316L welds was investigated under 3.5% NaCl environment using Pulsed Current Gas Tungsten Arc Welding employed from two different fillers ER2553 and ERNiCr-3. It was fulfilled from the study that ERNiCr-3 exhibited better mechanical and corrosion properties and could be adopted to achieve optimal properties compared to over-alloyed filler.
Ergonomics is a systematic approach to study the relationship between the individuals, their tools and the work environment. While studying ergonomic considerations for dentists, it is observed that they suffer from musculoskeletal disorders (back pain) due to repetitive and awkward or stressful motions during their operation. This paper involves the literature survey on ergonomic design of dentist chair and associated studies in dentistry. There is scope for implementing the modifications leading to the design of a new support arm to the dentist chair. In the literature it was found that static and dynamic analysis could be used to find stress (compressive force on lumbar disc) in the human body by Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) risk assessment technique for different loading conditions. Thus it was observed that there is a need for designing a new support arm to reduce musculoskeletal disorder problems. This paper will help the dental professionals to adopt correct human postures, which will enhance their working capacity to work in a pain -free environment to deliver quality dental care to their patients by providing support to forwardleaning postures.
This research article investigated metallurgical and weldability properties of AISI 316L and AISI 430 stainless steel weld-joints obtained by pulsing current gas tungsten arc welding (PCGTAW) process by employing ERNiCr-3 and ER2209 filler wires. Microstructural investigations witnessed the migrated grain boundaries at the weld zone of ERNiCr-3 and coarsened grains were very minimal at ER2209 weldments. This study is highly in demand in paper and pulp industries and successfully addressed the choice of fillers and detailed study has been carried out to analyze the structure-property relationships of these weldments using the combined techniques of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis.
There is always a need for hand tools and hand operated products that are well designed. Designing a good handle is critical at work, especially when the product is operated for an extended period of time. This paper deals with the iron box used in the garment industry. Prolonged use of this product that is un ergonomically designed would create muscular pain in the wrist and shoulders. Here the handle of this conventional iron box is redesigned with a tilting angle that would minimize stress in the human wrist. Finally this is analysed using RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) tool in CATIA V5.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
