UNSTRUCTURED The traditional Job Management System(JMS) handles only physical resources as computational resources. Computational resources are allocated to a job as computing nodes in HPC (High-Performance Computing) cluster system and the job procedures are implemented directly on allocated computing nodes. It is realized that the throughput of the SDN is enhanced only if it possesses better resource allocation and scheduling criteria. Thus in this review, it is sketched about various effective resource allocation schemes along with better job scheduling methods. On the same time, the lagging in each method are discussed and from that, the solution for improving the throughput of the system is found out. Thus this review may overlay way to formulate a better and well-organized Resource allocation and Job scheduling scheme for improving the throughput of the SDN whereas in turn the performance of the system also said to be enhanced.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
