ChemInform Abstract Reversed-phase HPLC chromatography on silica gel C18 has proven to be a useful technique for the separation and identification of cationic gold cluster compounds such as (Au9(PPh3)8)3+ and (Au6(PPh3)6)2+ and a variety of mixed Os-, Ru-, Reand Pt-Au cluster compounds. Only minor changes in solvent composition is necessary for the successful separation of these different clusters. HPLC is also shown to be a fast and very sensitive technique for the detection of reactions and identification of compounds.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
