Artikel ini adalah bagian dari hasil penelitian terkait proses kreatif koreografi di Aceh Besar. Diperlukan pengetahuan secara teori dan praktik mendasar untuk pengelolaan gerak sebagai media ungkap tari. Penelitian yang dilakukan di Aceh Besar membahas permasalahan daya kreativitas mencipta motif gerak dalam kajian koreografi garap bentuk. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualititif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan (action research). Mengidentifkasi masalah khusus dan menentukan tindakan sebagai solusi masalah tersebut. Tahapan penelitian antara lain : perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pemantauan (monitoring atau observing), pelatihan terpadu dan penilaian (reflecting atau evaluating). Tindakan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan pengelolaan unsur-unsur gerak tari, kajian koreografi garap bentuk. Menjalin kegiatan kemitraan dengan Bidang Kebudayaan, Dinas Pendidikan dan kebudayaan Aceh Besar untuk melaksanakannya. Menggabungkan 2 (dua) teknik dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan, yaitu : penyampaian materi secara teori dan mendemonstrasikan secara praktik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatan kreativitas dalam pengelolaan gerak sebagai substansi dasar tari bagi para pelaku seni tingkat SMP, SMA/SMK maupun komunitas seni di Aceh Besar. Kedepannya peserta pelatihan diharapkan mampu menghasilkan karya-karya seni inovatif dalam peningkatan perkembangan seni tari di Aceh.This article is part of the results of research related to the creative process of choreography in Aceh Besar. Knowledge is needed in theory and fundamental practice for the management of motion as a medium for expressing dance. Research conducted in Aceh Besar discusses the issue of the power of creativity to create motion motives in the study of choreography in terms of form. This type of research is qualitative research using action research methods. Identify specific problems and determine actions as a solution to the problem. Stages of research include: planning, implementation (acting), monitoring or observing, integrated training and assessment (reflecting or evaluating). The action was carried out in the form of training in the management of the elements of dance movement, the study of choreography in the form. Establish a partnership with the Culture field of Aceh Besar Education and Culture Office to implement it. Combining 2 (two) techniques in the implementation of the training, namely: delivering material theoretically and demonstrating in practice. This research is expected to contribute to increasing creativity in the management of motion as the basic substance of dance for junior and senior high school / vocational arts practitioners and the arts community in Aceh Besar. In the future the training participants are expected to be able to produce innovative works of art in improving the development of dance in Aceh.
Tari Drop Daruet sebagai warisan peristiwa budaya daerah masih bertahan hingga saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui eksistensi tari Drop Daruet dan mengetahui upaya pelestariannya di era modernisasi. Lokasi penelitian di sanggar Cut Nyak Dhien Meligoe Gubernur Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Bagaimana eksistensi Tari Drop Daruet, 2) Upaya Sanggar Cut Nyak Dhien Meuligoe Gubernur Aceh dalam mempertahankan Tari Drop Daruet di era modernisasi. Sumber data utama diperoleh dari wawancara dengan informan, sedangkan sumber data lainnya diperoleh dari observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan informan (pengurus, pelatih, penari, pemusik dan masyarakat). Teknik analisis menggunakan model analisis data interaktif yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Mengacu pada teori Malinowski yang mengatakan budaya yang lebih tinggi dan aktif akan mempengaruhi budaya yang lebih rendah dan pasif melalui kontak budaya. Serta Umar Kayam terkait tentang kesenian dan peran masyarakat pendukungnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tari Drop Daruet merupakan tari tradisi yang tidak banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat dan minimnya informasi akan keberadaan tari tersebut. Tari Drop Daruet diartikan sebagai bentuk seni yang berakar dan bersumber serta dirasakan sebagai milik sendiri oleh sanggar Cut Nyak Dhien Meuligoe Gubernur Aceh atau lingkungannya. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam pengelolaan tari tersebut hanya didasarkan pada kesadaran masyarakat pendukungnya yang dilakukan dari waktu ke waktu dan diwariskan secara regenerasi.
Waktu Dalam Lipatan is a work of dance that is inspired from the social phenomenon of deadline. Waktu Dalam Lipatan is defined as the activity of multiplying or minimizing the dimensions of an existing form, or can be equated with a time-bound understanding, which means an activity shortens the distance of time by increasing the speed or shortening the duration that already exists. Focusing on the element of attitudes on the psychological individual in a person undergoing a deadline process, related to the utilization of time is not good. In this dance, in addition to the body as the main media of dance, choreographer uses a companion media to strengthen the concept of presentation of works, one of which is a dance property. The dance property becomes part of the body's response in the delivery of these motion patterns. This article will analyze to what extent the existence of a dance property in the work "Waktu Dalam Lipatan" affects and reinforces the concept of the work.Keywords: choreography, dance properties, semiotics analysis
This research is entitled "Analysis of Music Recording Process with Digital Methods in Sanggar Buana Banda Aceh during the COVID-19 Pandemic". This study aims to determine the process of recording music using the Digital Method at Sanggar Buana Banda Aceh during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The tracking process of music recording on each instrument is recorded in the track.The overdub process is done by adding a new recording at the same time as the previously made recording is being played.The editing process uses an audio editor to enhance certain parts. The mixing process balances and combines the recorded tracks by prioritizing the principle of necessity. The equalizing process creates the sound character of traditional musical instruments based on the concept of sound frequency. The sound effect process provides an effect to strengthen the sound character of traditional musical instruments. The mastering process sets the standard volume, adjusts the frequency, removes or reduces effects that interfere with the character of the sound, balances and finalizes the audio as a whole. The research method used in this research is qualitative research as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written information and analysis using Studio One 5 software. The stages of data collection are: observation; literature review; interviews and documentation. The results and discussion of this research are; digital music recorder at Sanggar Buana Banda Aceh using digital recording equipment as follows; the Warm Audio WA 47 JR condenser microphone uses ambient miking techniques, the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen audio interface; uses a multitrack recording technique with separate vocal tracks from Rapa'i; medium for delivering vocals and Rapa'i; the storage media is PreSonus Studio One 5 software. The recording process with the stages of tracking, overdub, editing, mixing, equalizing, sound effects and mastering.Keywords: analysis, recording process, music, sanggar buana. AbstrakPenelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Proses Perekaman Musik dengan Metode Digital di Sanggar Buana Banda Aceh pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Proses Perekaman Musik dengan Metode Digital di Sanggar Buana Banda Aceh pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19. Proses tracking dari perekaman musik pada setiap instrument direkam dalam track. Proses overdub dilakukan dengan menambahkan rekaman baru pada saat yang bersamaan dimainkan rekaman yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Proses editing menggunakan audio editor untuk menyempurnakan bagian tertentu. Proses mixing menyeimbangkan dan menggabungkan track rekaman dengan mengutamakan prinsip kebutuhannya. Proses equalizing menciptakan karakter bunyi dari alat musik tradisi berdasarkan konsep frekuensi bunyi. Proses sound effect memberikan efek untuk memperkuat karakter bunyi dari alat musik tradisi. Proses mastering menetapkan standar volume, mengatur frekuensi, menghilangkan atau menurunkan efek yang mengganggu karakter bunyi, menyeimbangkan dan finalisasi audio secara utuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa informasi tertulis dan analisis menggunakan software Studio One 5. Tahapan pengumpulan data yaitu: observasi; studi pustaka; wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini yaitu; perekam musik dengan metode digital di Sanggar Buana Banda Aceh menggunakan peralatan rekaman digital sebagai berikut; microphone condenser Warm Audio WA 47 JR menggunakan teknik ambient miking, audio interface Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen; menggunakan teknik perekaman multitrack dengan track vokal terpisah dari Rapa’i; media penyampai vokal dan Rapa’i; media penyimpan yaitu software PreSonus Studio One 5. Saman and Bines dance is a traditional art from Gayo Lues, a very inherent existence in the supporting community as a dance that is specifically danced by men for Saman and women for Bines. In this article, the author describes the presentation of the arts at the Bejamu Saman cultural event. As a cultural heritage, the presentation of Saman and Bines in Bejamu Saman activities is the focus of research, how to present Saman and Bines in Bejamu Saman cultural events. This research uses qualitative methods, namely data that has been collected in the field regarding the Saman and Bines dance on Bejamu Saman activities and other data related to the object and focus of the research. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively-analytically with a textual analysis approach. The purpose of this research was to describe the presentation form of the Saman and Bines dance in Bejamu Saman activities. So that the results of this research can be used as supporting material in future Saman and Bines dance research. Understand the differences in the presentation of Saman and Bines as a spectacle and or as a series of cultural activities. Obtain information related to Bejamu Saman, a cultural event of the Gayo Lues community that represents the social identity of the Gayo Lues community in a reflection of the nation's character.
