Quantum dots are inorganic semiconductor crystal of nanometer size which having distinctive conductive property depend on its size & shape. After administration of quantum dots parentally they identify target and bound them. Also quantum dots having light emitting property depend on size & shape. Quantum dots are prepared by chemical synthesis method include both organic & water phase synthesis & also by top- bottom approach. Tumor cell targeting & detection of pathogen & toxin are the main application of quantum dots & also in targeting drug delivery system. This review provides the overview of method of preparation of quantum dots & its biological application.
Keywords: Quantum dot, targeting drug delivery, biological application
The objective of the present work is to design a HADOOP based parallel Marathi content retrieval system using clustering technique to get the efficient and optimized result than existing systems. The system also focuses on providing the personalized documents in Marathi language to the end user based on their interests identified from the browsing history and using time session mechanism for re ranking of documents to find more interested document from accessed pages.
Several authors have presented their work for content retrieval using different categorization techniques such as Naive Bayes, Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines (SVM), LINGO, Suffix Tree Clustering (STC) and for different languages such as Tamil, Arabic, Polish, and Marathi.Increasing the number of input documents severely affects the processing times and accuracy. The system uses HADOOP based clustering technique to distribute the task of clustering over multiple Datanodes and executing parallel in the HADOOP framework to get the optimized and efficient result of clustering of Marathi documents.
Herbal sector is growing at a fast pace catering to diverse needs of pharamaceuticals to nutraceuticals to cosmeticeuticals to plant extracts due to natural products and traditional medicine inclination world over. Trades of botanicals in the raw drug markets are diverse, complex, unregulated, opaque, fluctuating, unclear regulatory norms and implementation, lack of comprehensive documentation of market information and so on. Due to which, there is a cascading effect on the availability of the plant resources, which is affected by unscientific and destructive harvests along with certain species intrinsic factors. The doctoral study undertook ethnobotanical documentation of 6 raw drug markets of two states in southern India. This resulted in enumeration of 779 plant raw drugs comprising of 298 species, which are traded in two states. A ready reckoner comprising of botanical names, trade names, parts traded, field characters, botanical sources with authenticated information is shared as a catalogue. Such effort will facilitate the preparation of Market action and resource augmentation initiatives involving different stake holders in trade and manufacturers.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
