The aims of this study is to explore the effects of three different forms multimedia teaching to critical thinking skills of students in the context of the science laboratory. The three forms of multimedia teaching materials are static images, videos, and animations, that used to teach science trial for 120 students from Elementary School teacher education university of Samudra, Langsa. The method used in this study is a quasi-experiment with pretest to posttest control group design. The pretest method was given to college students to determine their learning achievement before given the application multimedia to experiment science during learning process for the experimental group and also the implementation multimedia and learning feedback from a list of several questions. Descriptive statistics and ANOVA were also given to analyze data that have been collected. This study shows that videos and animations have bigger effects in critical thinking skills in the context of science laboratories rather than static images and observation performance. In addition, animation video in presentation can help students to understand the experiment and learning science easily.
The aims of this study to describe the ability of teachers to use teaching aids “ figure tool Block Slide Factoring (Bloker) through the scientific approach in 2013 Curriculum. The data extracted in this study are related to the steps of using Block Slide Factoring (Bloker) through a scientific approach in Curriculum 2013. Source of data extracted by observation teacher activity related to the use of properties through a scientific approach in learning mathematics. Based on the results of observations, the researchers describe and disclose the steps for using Block Slide Factoring (Bloker) with a scientific approach in the 2013 Curriculum. Based on the analysis of the data showed that Block Slide Factoring (Bloker) could be operated correctly and adequately reach the stage of a mathematical formula or reach the stage properties are not used anymore, then describe and only use techniques.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Index Card Match terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP Negeri 6 Langsa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimental The Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-1 yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIII-2 yang berjumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar tes akhir, tes akhir diberikan untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa setelah belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Index Card Match pada materi limas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditolak dan diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berbantuan Index Card Match terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP Negeri 6 Langsa.
