Pakistan's economic and development strategy falls short compared to what is considered essential for any nation that multiplies. The federal government did not maximize the utilization of its land, sea, and air assets. The reason for this is the persistent issues with the trade and payments balance and inflation, unemployment, and program inconsistency. This is one area where the maritime sector has been a quarry for years. Contrary to the maritime transportation industry, fisheries are the only coastal resource used nowadays. The maritime sector of Pakistan's economy is becoming less viable as rising maritime vulnerabilities lead to decreased commerce and taxes. Here we look at Pakistan's maritime industry and see how it stacks up to those of its land and maritime neighbors, i.e., India, Iran, and maritime neighbor Oman.Novelty Statement | This study is novel as it examines the present situation of marine commerce with maritime neighbors of Pakistan to assess if the persistent reduction in trade arises from a regional phenomenon or an individual issue.
Political evolution is the ultimate objective of all political systems. Political development is the enemy of progress in several domains, as well as the syndrome of difference, equality, and mass ability creation. There is a substantial positive association between a country's national and socioeconomic circumstances and its political growth. This includes the GDP growth rate and the urbanization rate, mass mobilization and engagement, educational growth, and democratic principles. Since its birth, Pakistan has been on a path of political growth and has seen several social transformations and a modernization drive in its society. Pakistan has reached a modest rate of growth, and its society is in a transitional phase between a traditional agricultural civilization and an industrialized one. Although the development process is gradual, it is rather stable with few setbacks. The rapid expansion of information technology and increased communication platforms have ushered in new developments and modernization movements in society. In this paper, we will explore if there is any correlation between political development and social conditions in Pakistan.
For a coastal state, the domain of Maritime Tourism is crucial for enhancing the capacity of maritime affairs. An integrated approach is required to address issues that link marine tourism with the country’s inland tourism and policies. With the growing population burst, coastal cities are immensely under pressure as they host more individuals than inland cities. Moreover, coastal cities possess significantly smaller land areas than non-coastal ones. As a coastal state, Pakistan has considerable resources to become an emerging blue economy. This study emphasizes Pakistan’s Balochistan province, specifically the area occupied by the Lasbela district. It reveals a domestic sketch of the tourist attractions of Lasbela and provides a way for policymakers to take a deep insight into current needs, future challenges, and opportunities for sustainable development. This study underlines descriptive research and uses a longitudinal design to increase the clarity of the subject.
Pakistan’s vital geopolitical position is an advantage for this South Asian nation. It is located at the apex of the Arabian Peninsula. Thus, the People’s Republic of China has setup the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with a futuristic strategy to gain long-term benefits. This planning is not random at all. It is a cohesive plan to revitalize the financial system of its long-standing collaborator and ally through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which is currently the talk of the town. The present study analyzes how Pakistan’s conventional economic outlook can be transformed through the CPEC. While harnessing the power of Pakistan as a ‘trade route’, the CPEC has the potential to reshape transport & security options, increase the cost-effectiveness of goods, and widen the scope for new and existing businesses. it will develop a networking coherence among agricultural & industrial hubs and connect special economic zones (SEZs) with the rest of the country and beyond. This paper evaluates the CPEC’s fiscal footprint on Pakistan’s economy and examines the correlation between overcoming economic shortcomings and increasing future gains through a cause-and-effect relationship.
