A new series of isatin-based spiro-fused derivatives were prepared, via three-component reaction of Nalkyl-1-(methylthio)-2-nitroethenamine derived from the addition of various amines to nitroketene dithioacetal with isatin derivatives and 4-hydroxycoumarin in ethanol as a solvent at reflux. The significant advantages of this protocol include simple operation under mild conditions, easy purification, good yields, and catalyst-free approach.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
