Students' motivation and interest in learning mathematics have an important role in the learning process and student learning outcomes. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the research trends of students' motivation and interest in learning mathematics and finding out the opportunities for the topic of students' motivation and interest in learning mathematics which can be investigated further in the next research. Search data taken from Google Scholar with the keyword's motivation and interest in learning mathematics and mathematics education. Researchers analyzed 855 of 980 original articles from 1975-2022. The use of the software Harzing's Publish or Perish and VOSviewers to achieve the desired goal of data analysis. The result of this study provides recommendations for variables that have the potential to be studied in the future related to Motivation and Interesting in Learning Mathematics namely gender and self-regulation. Abstrak: Motivasi dan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika memiliki peran penting terhadap proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui trend penelitian motivasi dan minat belajar matematika siswa dan untuk mengetahui peluang topik motivasi dan minat belajar matematika siswa yang dapat diteliti lebih lanjut. Melalui google scholar dengan keywords motivasi dan minat dalam pembelajaran matematika dan pendidikan matematika data penelitian diambil. Peneliti menganalisis 855 dari 980 artikel dari tahun 1975-2022. Penggunaan software Harzing's Publish or Perish dan VOSviewers untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan yaitu analisis data. Hasil penelitian memberikan rekomendasi variable yang memiliki potensi diteliti di masa mendatang terkait Motivation and Interesting in Learning Mathematics yaitu gender dan self-regulation.
