Resumen. La patología dérmica infantil es una de las consultas más habituales en nuestra práctica clínica, teniendo que conocer algunas peculiaridades que el paciente pediátrico tiene, y la necesidad de mantener una buena relación interprofesional con el resto de profesionales sanitarios que, de forma simultánea, tratan a dichos pacientes. Los objetivos del estudio fueron numerar las diferentes patologías que afectan a la piel del niño en la consulta de podología para determinar su prevalencia y protocolo de actuación dentro del marco de un equipo multidisciplinar. Para ello, se realizó un estudio retrospectivo descriptivo de una muestra de 328 historias clínicas, de la consulta de podología, en el periodo de Noviembre 2004 a Febrero 2013, que cumplían los criterios de inclusión de ser un paciente pediátrico con problemas dermatológicos a nivel del pie. Así, los resultados muestran que el 52% eran pacientes pediátricos del sexo femenino y el 48% del sexo masculino con una edad media de 11,6 años, con los rangos de edad de entre 10-11 y 16-17 con mayor incidencia de patología. Las patologías más diagnosticadas fueron las verrugas plantares, onicocriptosis e hiperhidrosis, seguido de las micosis, con predominio de tratamientos tópicos. Los meses con un mayor número de pacientes pediátricos con problemas a nivel de la piel y de las uñas de los pies fueron Septiembre, Noviembre y Julio. Las relaciones interprofesionales a través de un informe exhaustivo dirigido hacia su pediatra da buenos resultados. Cutaneous pediatric pathology is one of the most common consultations in our clinical practice having to know some peculiarities that pediatric patient has, and the need to maintain a good interprofessional relationship with the rest of health professionals who simultaneously treat these patients. The objectives of the study were to number the different pathologies that affect the child's skin in the podiatry consultation to determine their prevalence and protocol of action within the framework of a multidisciplinary team. A retrospective descriptive study of a sample of 328 clinical histories, from the podiatry consultation, was carried out from November 2004 to February 2013, which met the inclusion criteria of being a pediatric patient with dermatological problems at the foot level . Thus, the results show that 52% were female pediatric patients and 48% were males with a mean age of 11.6 years, with the age ranges between 10-11 and 16-17 with a higher incidence of pathology. The most diagnosed pathologies were plantar warts, ingrown toenails and hyperhidrosis, followed by mycosis, with predominance of topical treatments. The months with a larger number of pediatric patients with skin and nail problems were September, November and July. The interprofessional relations through an exhaustive report directed towards his pediatrician, gives good results.
