Abstract-Recently, many large organizations have multiple data sources (MDS') distributed over different branches of an interstate company. Local patterns analysis has become an effective strategy for MDS mining in national and international organizations. It consists of mining different datasets in order to obtain frequent patterns, which are forwarded to a centralized place for global pattern analysis. Various synthesizing models [2,3,4,5,6,7,8,26] have been proposed to build global patterns from the forwarded patterns. It is desired that the synthesized rules from such forwarded patterns must closely match with the mono-mining results (i.e., the results that would be obtained if all of the databases are put together and mining has been done). When the pattern is present in the site, but fails to satisfy the minimum support threshold value, it is not allowed to take part in the pattern synthesizing process. Therefore, this process can lose some interesting patterns, which can help the decider to make the right decision. In such situations we propose the application of a probabilistic model in the synthesizing process. An adequate choice for a probabilistic model can improve the quality of patterns that have been discovered. In this paper, we perform a comprehensive study on various probabilistic models that can be applied in the synthesizing process and we choose and improve one of them that works to ameliorate the synthesizing results. Finally, some experiments are presented in public database in order to improve the efficiency of our proposed synthesizing method.
This study develops a condition classification system of compressor 103J and water pump systems which are key equipment in the ammonia production line, hence the monitoring of these two very important machines. In recent years, there are many good intelligent machine learning algorithms and XGboost is one of them. However, it contains many parameters and classification performance of the model will be greatly affected by the selection of parameters and their combination technique. In this paper, XGboost algorithm is combined with the genetic algorithm, called GA-XGboost, in order to find the best hyper parameters of classifiers which makes the classifier more efficient and ensures the proper functioning of compressor 103J and water pump systems. Experiments show that GA-XGboost algorithm has improved the accuracy of classification in the compressor 103J and the water pump dataset compared with other machine learning algorithms like Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest (RF) and AdaBoost. Also experiments demonstrate the improvement of the GA-XGboost algorithm by the combination of different selection and crossover operators of the genetic algorithm.
Abstract-Many large organizations have multiple databases distributed over different branches. Number of such organizations is increasing over time. Thus, it is necessary to study data mining on multiple databases. Most multi-databases mining (MDBM) algorithms for association rules typically represent input patterns at a single level of abstraction. However, in many applications of association rules -e.g., Industrial discovery, users often need to explore a data set at multiple levels of abstraction, and from different points of view. Each point of view corresponds to set of beliefs (and representational) commitments regarding the domain of interest. Using domain ontologies, we strengthen the integration of user knowledge in the mining and post-processing task. Furthermore, an interactive and iterative framework is designed to assist the user along the analyzing task at different levels. This paper formalizes the problem of association rules using ontologies in multi-database mining, describes an ontology-driven association rules algorithm to discoverer rules at multiple levels of abstraction and presents preliminary results in petroleum field to demonstrate the feasibility and applicability of this proposed approach.
