The objective of this research is to determine to what extent the educational program based on emotional intelligence affects the improvement of social intelligence in teachers of Educational Institution No. 82101. Theapproach used was quantitative and the research was applied. The population was constituted for a total of 15 teachers. The sample conformed of the entire population. The selection of the sample was made through non-probabilistic sampling, applying the intentional criterion of the researcher. A questionnaire was applied in the data collection. The results were the following: the level of social intelligence in the social awareness dimension according to the pretest is regular (86.67 %) in the teachers of the educational institution and in the same way, the level of social intelligence, social ease dimension according to the pretest is regular (66.67 %). The investigation concludes that the level of social intelligence is regular (80 %) in the teachers of the Educational Institution.Likewise, the emotional intelligence educational program significantly improves social intelligence in teachers of the Educational Institution 82101.
