Purpose -Its objective is to improve the efficiency of logistics tasks. Methodology -This research article was composed using a systematic revision of numerous publications focused on the theme of our research using the Technological Vigilance Service of the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. Findings -This review article shows how the supply chain influenced the 4th industrial revolution, how it was organized and what strategies were used for the transition of the supply chain in industry 4.0. Value -Revolutionizing logistics and supply chain management in smart manufacturing is one of the key goals of the industry 4.0 movement. Emerging technologies such as autonomous vehicles, cyber physical systems and digital twins enable highly optimized and automated solutions in these areas to ensure full traceability of each product. Keeping track of various assets in the factory and warehouse is the focal point of asset management.
