ÖZETBu araştırmanın amacı 15-17 yaş grubu güreşçilerin bazı fiziksel ve fizyolojik özelliklerinin sezonsal değişimlerini incelemektir. Araştırmaya Denizli ve Milas Güreş Eğitim Merkezlerinde kalan, düzenli antrenman yapan güreşçilerden 30 kişi gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırma grubunun sezon boyunca yapılan 4 ölçüm (1. ölçüm sezon başlamadan önce, 2. ölçüm sezon başladıktan 3.5 ay sonra Ocak ayının başında, 3. ölçüm Mart ayının sonunda, 4. ölçüm ise sezon sonunda yani Temmuz ayının başında) sonuçları karşılaştırıldı. Araştırma grubunun 4 ölçüm ortalamaları arasındaki farklılık Varyans Analizi, farklılığın hangi gruptan kaynaklandığını bulmak için ise Tukey HSD Testi uygulandı. Değişkenler arasındaki farklılığın yorumunda anlamlılık düzeyi olarak 0.05 ve 0.01 seçildi.Çalışma sonunda, araştırma grubunun anaerobik güç, zorlu vital kapasite, reaksiyon sese karşı sağ ve sol el, ışığa karşı sağ ve sol el, bacak kuvveti, mekik testi, şınav testi ortalamaları arasındaki fark anlamlı çıkmıştır (p<0.0l, p<0.05).Anahtar Kelimeler: Güreş, Yıldız Güreşçiler, Sezonsal Değişim. SEASONAL CHANGES ON SOME PHYSICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL CAHARACTERISTICS OF WRESTLERS AGED 15-17 YEARS ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to examine the seasonal changes of some physical and physiological parameters of the wrestlers aged 15-17 yrs. Totally 30 voluntary wrestlers participated in this study from Denizli and Milas Wrestling Education Centers. The evaluation of 4 different measurements that were taken during season (1st at the beginning , second at the 3.5 month later in January, 3rd athe end of March and the last one at the beginnig of July) was done by Repeated measure of Anova and source of differences were determined by using Tukey HSD test.At the end of study, the results indicated that there were singnificant differences in anaerobic power, FVC, reaction time scores, leg strength, pin-up and push-up test scores (p<0.0, p<0.05).
OF SOME PHYSICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF TURKISH AND RUSSIANS JUNIOR NATIONAL JUDO TEAMS ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine physical and physiological profile of Turkish Female Judo team and to compare some physical and physiological parameters of Turkish And Russians Junior National Judo Teams.22 subjets from Turkish female judo team an 14 subjects Russians Junior National Judo Female team participated in this study. All subjects age, sport age, height, weight, vertical jump, anaerobic power, 20 mt spint, hand grip, leg strength, reaction time (leftright hand, light and voice), body fat percent were measured respectively. The values of two teams were analysed in two different ways, one of them was comparision whole team and the other one was comparision according to weight category(light, middle and heavy weight). The scores all veriables were analysed by using Kruskal-Wallis test and differences among the veriables were considered significant at the p<0,05 and p<0,01 level. As a result of comparision between weight categories showed that there were significant differences between two teams physiological parameters. In conclusion differences in physiological parameters cause significant effect on competition performance.
This study was carried out to determine and compare the physical fitness levels of elderly people who pray regularly with those who lead a sedentary lifestyle, as well as to emphasize the importance of performing regular prayer for the physical fitness levels of elderly people. The research sample consisted of 849 men who were able to conduct their daily activities independently, with no serious health problems, and who were viewed as healthy according to their age category. They were divided on the basis of age into 5 age groups. The Senior Fitness Test (SFT) was applied to determine the physical fitness levels of elderly men (Rikli, Jones, 2001). In addition, a questionnaire was administered to learn whether the subjects performed regular prayer or not.The differences between the prayer group and sedentary group were analyzed using the Independent Samples Test. It was found that the physical fitness levels of the elderly men who performed prayer were higher than those of the sedentary group; all of the parameters of physical fitness measured through the SFT protocol were higher in the case of the elderly men who performed prayer.
This study was conducted to examine the effects of sports activities other than soccer on 10-15-year-old soccer players' motor skills. The sample included 146 registered soccer players in the U category (U10-U15) of the Turkish Football Federation's Aslantepe, Çeliktepe and Seyrantepe clubs. The players participated in this study on a voluntary basis. The players who participated in the study were divided into two age categories (10-12 and 13-15 years) and two groups, those who only played soccer (OS) and those involved in soccer and other sports (SAO). The study recorded the sociodemographic characteristics of the athletes, the sports they were interested in other than soccer, the weekly time they spent in different sports activities and the number of soccer training sessions they attended each week. The measurements for the study were completed in the first week of the preparation period at the beginning of the soccer season. All the participants were subjected to tests for speed, agility, horizontal jumping, endurance, and the motor tests that measured balance parameters, all of which are important for soccer. The study data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 software. The study used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine whether the data had normal distributions. The parameters with normal distributions were analyzed using the t-test, while those without normal distributions were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The threshold for statistical significance was p<0.05. Analysis of the data showed that there were statistically significant (p<0.05) differences between the motor skills test results of the players in SAO group and those in the OS group. Thus, having children get interested in multiple sports at a young age instead of only one, and including forms of play that feature the fundamental skills of different sports in their training programs will positively contribute to the development of their motor skills and improve their performance.
