A nanostructured platform that combines electrospun TiO2 nanofibers (TiNFs)‐deposited substrate and cell‐capture agent realizes significant capture of circulating tumor cells (CTCs). The enhanced local topographic interactions between the horizontally packed TiNFs deposited substrates and extracellular matrix scaffolds, in addition to anti‐EpCAM/EpCAM biological recognition, contributes to the significantly enhanced capture efficiency compared to flat surfaces.
A task-specific ionic liquid (TSIL) has been introduced as a recyclable catalyst in Michael addition. A series of nitroalkenes and various C-based nucleophiles were reacted in the presence of 30mol% of recyclable basic-functionalized ionic liquid. Good to excellent yields were obtained in 30min under ultrasound irradiation.
A new approach for the synthesis of diorganyl selenides is described. By using economically attractive zinc dust in BMIM-BF(4), a series of diorganyl selenides were efficiently achieved in excellent yields, under neutral reaction conditions. Compared to the usual organic solvents, BMIM-BF(4) exhibited higher performance with the advantage to be reused up to five successive runs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
