The purpose of this study is to develop an empirical model for the health improvement of patients with thyroidectomy. Subjects of this study were patients who visited general surgery in K general hospital from January 7 to July 8, 2013. As a results, the present research showed that the mean score of stress control after intervention decreased significantly than subjects(t=2.91, p=.038) before the intervention. Secondly, the present research showed that the performance ability rate of thyroidectomy can be increased to 52.7-68.4% by the intervention. The paper will contribute to the model of therapeutic lifestyle change program by the health promotion program's thyroidectomy patients and indicate the direction of their health promotion program adoption in the future.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of an integrated information system adoption for the health promotion in patients with laparoscopic colon resection. The subjects of this paper were patients who had visited a general hospital which located in the area of metropolitan from July 8 to September 10, 2013. The total of 152 subjects were divided into experimental group 76 and control group 76. As a result, first, the present research showed the mean score of green tea drinking after intervention increased significantly than subjects(t=-5.28, p=0,000) before the intervention Second, the present research showed that the rate of the health improvement behavior of colon cancer patients can be increased to 75.4-83.2% by the intervention. Therefore, the paper will contribute to the improvement in the quality of life through application of an integrated information system to solve problems from patients with laparoscopic colon resection.
This study was conducted to examine the application effect of a medical information management system for the prevention of depression in mastectomy patients. The subjects were divided into an experimental group (n=62) and a control group (n=62). To verify the effects of the information mediation, this study used a progress method for measurement in the form of an application test and a follow-up test. The results of this study are as follows: First, it showed significantly the factors of health behavior on depression in the degree of education, nutrient intake, exercise, insomnia, and personality type (p<.05). Secondly, it was found that the experimental group had a tendency toward gradually developing more variation from 70.2% to 83.1% in health behavior performance than the control group with regard to the measurement of depression over the application timeframe. Therefore, it is concluded that a medical information management system is effective in relieving mastectomy patients from depression over the physical, psychological, and social changes they experience.
