The paper analyzes the topicality of secondary polymer materials usage in new products. It considers the main stages of secondary polymers processing. Three main groups of recycling processes are singled out, i.e. preparatory, shape-generating, and auxiliary. The paper highlights special perspectives of the coextrusion with further blowing technology usage. The calculation of multilayer preform adhesion for different loading conditions is done. The paper researches the deflected mode in the process of blowing the preform, consisting of three layers; two outside layers consist of primary polymer, and the inside layer is the polymer received during the recycling. While modelling the material of each preform layer, a viscous-elastic model of the material is used; this model allows identifying the deflected mode within each layer and between the layers, taking into account the change of polymer viscosity in the nonuniform cooling conditions. The dependencies of deformation rate intensity on blowing pressure for each of three layers of a multilayer product are calculated.
A scientific article presents the main goals that can be achieved through the use of co-extrusion processing technology and equipment for the processing of secondary polymer and building materials. The main indicator of the multilayered product being created in the process of co-extrusion processing of secondary building and polymer materials is determined. The methods of quality control of the mixture preparation from secondary materials and quality of manufacturing of a finished co-extrusion product are considered. A reference mathematical model of a co-extruded product containing secondary building and polymer materials is constructed. Based on the results of the studies, the article presents an analysis of the ecological state of building and polymer wastes. The necessity of further research in the field of improving the model of the formation of a multilayer structure of a given quality for the process of processing this waste is substantiated. For the existing practice of preparing a mixture of polymer and building material wastes, the volumetric costs of components are determined by recipes. An analysis of the equations obtained allows us to refine the recommended numerical values of the percentage of primary polymer on the basis of the required standard strength of the building pipe from secondary materials.
Nine theories of polymer adhesion during coextrusion are researched. Two approaches to describing adhesion are presented – thermodynamic and molecular-kinetic ones. The factors, determining the durability of adhesion junction, are analyzed. The stages of adhesion connection formation are presented. The adhesion junction emergence model as a result of intermolecular interaction is described. As a result of calculations the following dependencies are got: the dependence of ply separation energy on the contact length of polyisobutylene adhesion junction of different molecular weight, the dependence of ply separation energy on molecular weight of polyisobutylene adhesion junctions got during different time, the dependence of adhesion durability on squared difference of polymer solubility parameters, the dependence of interdiffused zone width in the time.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
