Die katalytische Hydrierung einer Reihe von 1,4‐Dialkyl‐cyclohexadienen (I) und (II) wird an Raney‐ Nickel, ‐Kobalt, ‐Eisen, ‐Kupfer, an 5% Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium, Osmium" Iridium oder Platin auf Kohle, an Platinoxid und Platinschwarz untersucht, und es werden die Mengenverhältnisse zwischen den verschiedenen Reaktionsprodukten (III)‐(VIII) an den verschiedenen Katalysatoren bestimmt.

Der Einfluß der Zusammen= Setzung und der Herstellungsbedingungen von Nickel‐Katalysatoren mit A1uminiumsilikatträgem auf die Bildung von Cyclohexylbenzol bei der Hydroalkylierung von Benzol wird untersucht.

A few guidelines for surgical dissection at the porta hepatis in hepatic portoenterostomy for congenital biliary atresia as evolved from our experiences on 52 cases are suggested. Indication for revision is also shown. Supplementary procedures in case of complications, such as ascending cholangitis and the onset of portal hypertension, are also described. An early primary operation as well as a positive revision and supplementary procedures for ascending cholangitis and oesophageal varices have resulted in an improvement of the therapeutic results.
