The decp inelastic scattering of electrons (muons) and neutrinos on the nuclei and the process of lepton pair production in hadron-nucleus collisions are considered. The expressions for the corresponding differential cross-sections are derived provided the final lepton and the spectator fragment of the initial nucleus are detected in coincidence. "he structure functions of the processes under consideration are analysed by the principle of autoniodelity. Some scale-invariant regularities are established for them. In the framework of "light front" formalism for many-body systems the relations of these structure functions to the usual structure functions of the deep inelastic leptonhadron interaction are obtained. A hypothesis is put forward on the scale invariance of structure functions with respect to the [-variable which is some complicated dimensionless rombination of kinematic invariants.
Scale invariant presentation of inclusive spectra in terms of light front variables is proposed. The variables introduced go over to the well-known scaling variables x F = 2p z / √ s and x T = 2p T / √ s in the high p z and high p T limits respectively. Some surface is found in the phase space of produced π ± -mesons in the inclusive reaction pp → π ± X at 22.4 GeV/c, which separates two groups of particles with significantly different characteristics. In one of these regions a naive statistical model seems to be in a good agreement with data, whereas it fails in the second region.Classification codes: PACS numbers: 13.85 Ni, 13.90+i

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
