The diploid chromosome number of the Indian five striped squirrel {Funambulus pennanti, Wroughton) is 54 with a preponderance of acrocentric chromosomes. On the basis of chromosome number and morphology the interrelationships of the different species of squirrel are discussed.
Es werden die wahrscheinlichkeitserzeugenden Funktionen f u r die Warteschlangenlange in den Pallen, in denen der Bediener frei bzw. in Titigkeit ist, hergeleitet. generating functions of the queus length when the server is free and busy are obtained. Present paper studies the transient behaviour of a queueing problem in which arrivals following a P o i s s o n distribution occur in batches of variable size and departures occurkng in batches of variable size obey the general distribution. The capacity of the server i s fixed. The server is made intermittently available. Probability
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
