A new coordination polymer [Ag 2 L 1.5 (NO 3 ) 2 (CH 3 CN)] n (1) (L = N,N -bis(furan-2-ylmethylene)hydrazine) has been synthesized and characterized by IR, UV, elemental analysis, 1 H NMR, and X-ray crystallography. The most remarkable structural feature of the polymer is that it displays a 2D coordination polymer featuring three types of metallacyclic rings, bimetallic 8-membered, tetrametallic 14-membered, and hexametallic 20-membered rings. The luminescent properties of the title polymer were investigated in the solid state at room temperature.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
