ABSTRAKMenstruasi merupakan peristiwa yang wajar dan alami, walaupun kenyataannya banyak wanita mengalami masalah menstruasi. Gangguan haid dari sisi jumlah dan lamanya sering terjadi baik pada usia remaja maupun usia menjelang menopause akibat ketidakseimbangan hormon. Penyebab ketidakteraturan haid antara lain disebabkan oleh ketidakseimbangan hormon, efek samping obat, tumor di ovarium, tumor di rahim dan polikistik ovarium sindrom (PCOS). Sebagian besar masih belum memahami bahwa haid yang tidak teratur bisa jadi merupakan gejala awal dari penyakit system reproduksi maupun hubungan antara obesitas dengan gangguan haid. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang gangguan haid, fakta dan mitos seputar gangguan haid, menopause serta permasalahannya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 11 Maret 2022 pukul 15.30-17.30 di Masjid Al Fatah, Bodeh, Ambarketawang, Gamping, Sleman. Metode yang digunakan melalui ceramah secara langsung kepada kader binaan Pimpinan Ranting Aisyiyah (PRA) Ambarketawang. Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh 34 peserta, didahului dengan dilakukan pretest dan posttest pada akhir kegiatan. Bentuk pretest dan posttest menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest peserta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan, dengan hasil rerata pretest tentang pengetahuan gangguan haid dan menopause 81,74%, dan hasil rerata posttest 87,59%. Disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan sebanyak 5,85%. Kata kunci: gangguan haid; menopause; menstruasi. ABSTRACTMenstruation is a normal and natural occurrence; however, many women experience menstrual problems. The majority of menstrual disorders and conditions that occur during adolescence and before menopause are caused by hormonal imbalances. Menstrual irregularities can be caused by hormonal imbalances, medication side effects, tumors in the ovaries, tumors in the uterus, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Most people are still unaware that irregular menstruation can be an early sign of reproductive system disease, or that there is a link between obesity and menstrual disorders. The aim of the community service is to give undersatanding about menstrual disorder counseling, facts and myths about menstrual disorders, menopause, and their problems. On Friday, March 11, 2022, from 15.30-17.30, community service activities will be held at Al Fatah Mosque in Bodeh, Ambarketawang, Gamping, and Sleman. The Aisyiyah Branch Leadership (PRA) Ambarketawang is assisting with direct lectures to cadres. The activity was attended by 34 people, and it was preceded by a pretest and a posttest at the end. A questionnaire is used as a pretest and posttest. Participants improved based on the results of the pretest and posttest, with the average pretest result for knowledge of menstrual disorders and menopause being 81.74 percent and the average posttest result being 87.59 percent.
