The purpose of this study is to estimate the value of the conventional easy access system assuming Wheelchair users and the value of measures due to the spread of COVID-19 infection. This study conducted a questionnaire survey for the elderly in central Tokyo. As a result of the "Contingent Valuation Method," the value of "installing an elevator" and "installing an escalator" and "disinfection of places that passengers can easily touch" was high. The elderly have stress when moving up and down at the station. Besides, they tend to worry about direct contact with their hands, such as train railings.
This study aims to understand the behaviors assumed when a typhoon approaches the elderly living in Setagaya Ward. Using an official survey table called "My Timeline," we asked the elderly to fill out their behavior according to alert level. As a result of text mining analysis of the free description, the behavior related to "meteorological information gathering" increased sharply at alert level 2. On the other hand, the behavior related to "emergency kit preparation" was about 40% at the time of alert level 1, but it tended to decrease after that.
