In this study, the connection between Islamic values and country policies has been carefully connected to the foundations that create political legitimating and the basic nature of a country. Islam performs a crucial part in the social fabric of Pakistan and has been integrated as the guiding concept for the constitutional procedure and governmental systems of the country but at the same time produced implicit stress for their future improvements. Various government authorities have used religious beliefs for their quest for governmental authenticity and power. This has consequently brought about politicization of spiritual explanation in Pakistan demonstrated in the form of sectarian disputes, persecution of spiritual unprivileged or disempowerment of certain spiritual organizations and management. Whereas controversy about interpreting religious identity continues pervading the Pakistani community, it is observed that large parts of the Pakistani inhabitants follow pluralistic types of Islam based on heterogeneous spiritual and devotional methods. Islamic political parties should cooperate on federal or provincial levels with national and local political parties to eliminate the religious extremism in Pakistan.
Pakistan was achieved in the name of Islam. Much of its politics has revolved around the status of the Islam and notion of making it a political reality. This study explores the Politics made in the name of Islamic Legislation in Pakistan during the era 1979-2000. This research is based on the analysis of the authentic material in the form of literature from scholars and Government documents. Islam is considered to be unifying force but the legislation made in the name of Islam created controversies and opposition, bitter feelings and hatred in society. To make it more blinkered and intolerant, Islamic legislation should be made only through the Ijtehad performed by radicals.
Pakistan was created in the name of Islam with the ideology that future constitution of the country would enable the Muslims of the sub-continent to live their lives according to the teachings of Islam. Article 2-A of the present Constitution states that "The principles and provisions set out in the Objectives Resolution are a substantive part of the Constitution". Article 227 further ensures that "All existing laws shall be brought in conformity with the injunctions of Islam as laid down in the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (Peace be upon Him)". At present Federal Shari'at Court (FSC) has been given the responsibility to decide and examine the question whether or not any law and provision of law is repugnant to the injunctions of Islam as laid down in the Qur'an and the Sunnah. This research deals with the organization and functioning of FSC and its role in the Islamization of legislation.
This study evaluates JUI-F Pakistans role concerning the significant changes in its political strategy and ideology from 2002 to 2018. Muslim societies as a whole, apart from few exceptions, were alien to the perfect and contemporary notion of democracy. The colonial governments and their political system, ruled over the Muslim majority nations during the colonial era, are one of the primary factors for the antidemocracy strategy. For different social, political and religious reasons, JUI-F Pakistan has undergone inevitable political changes and ideological transformations. Major events in the ancient and modern demonstrate its political shift. While some of Deobands academics still favor radical groups and promote their cause like JUI-S but in this situation, JUI-F Pakistan is an exception. The partys general political function may not be fully and ideally democratic, but occurrences demonstrate their in-depth knowledge of continuing political changes and ground-based realities at regional and international level.
