<p>Augmented Reality can provide information that can be more easily understood by the user. Because of its advantages, Augmented Reality can be utilized to create learning applications that can support teaching and learning process. Chemical learning about chemical reactions is usually boring by students. This is because students only know the theory of the book and the explanation of teachers only. This research utilized Augmented Reality to be able to see 3D model of each chemical element and also can see animation of merging between elements. In order to bring up 3D objects of chemical elements then made a card that will be used as a marker / tracker. In addition, there can be a combination of several chemical elements based on several cards detected from the camera. The test is performed for chemical elements with periodic table such as H, Ca, Na, K, C, Cl, Br, O, S, SO2, CO2, OH. Testing the application by performing several merge elements such as HCl, NaCl, H20, CO2, MgS, SO2, O2, CaCl2, HCN, N2, and others. The results of this study will be tested on several students to see the benefits of student learning.</p>
Saat ini, aplikasi motion tracking digunakan secara luas untuk banyak tujuan, seperti mendeteksi kemacetan dan menghitung berapa banyak orang yang masuk ke sebuah supermarket atau sebuah mall. Sebuah metode untuk memisahkan antara background dan obyek yang di-track dibutuhkan untuk melakukan motion tracking. Membuat aplikasi tracking pada background yang statis bukanlah hal yang sulit, namun apabila tracking dilakukan pada background yang tidak statis akan lebih sulit, dikarenakan perubahan background dapat dikenali sebagai area tracking. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dapat dibuat suatu aplikasi untuk memisahkan background dimana aplikasi tersebut dapat beradaptasi terhadap perubahan yang terjadi. Aplikasi ini dibuat untuk memisahkan background dengan menggunakan metode Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM). Metode GMM melakukan cluster data piksel dengan menggunakan warna background tiap piksel sebagai dasarnya. Setelah cluster dibentuk, dilakukan pencocokan input sebagai distribusi, dimana distribusi yang dominan dijadikan sebagai background. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa algoritma GMM dapat beradaptasi terhadap background. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian yang sukses terhadap semua kondisi yang diberikan. Aplikasi ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut supaya proses tracking dapat terintegrasi dengan background yang adaptive.
Augmented reality technology is very important in visualizing real objects or concepts. The advancement of computing equipment enables 3D modelling to be performed virtually with relatively easy processes. The appearance of 3D models in virtual is very interesting because it can be combined with interactive multimedia applications so that users can control the course of the application as needed. This augmented reality application has been through process testing, system testing on different mobile devices, and marker testing. The results of process testing indicate that every process on the application goes according to existing model design. Test results show that applications created using the library vuforia and Unity can run well. High school students show that as many as 84.6% who agree with using this application is more interesting than the usual method of learning so as to be able to recognize compound bonding using this application well.
Point of sales system information is a growing system information and a lot of people is interested in using it especially in the business areas. Nowadays, the mostly used process in restaurant are order process, reservation process, delivering customer;s order to kitchen, and calculating payment bill that are still noted using paper, which makes the process less efficient than it should have been. In this research, a mobile-based point of sales information system application will be developed. The development of this application is using Laravel PHP framework and Javascript. Result from the research is that the application can show customer's order, record reservation, order's status in kitchen and display daily sales report.
