This systematic mapping study aims to identify and systematize the existing theoretical contributions on workforce diversity in the private sector in order to provide a different approach to study diversity management. Diversity management is a process intended to create and maintain a favorable working environment in which all the similarities and differences among people are considered, thus enhancing their potential and maximizing their contribution to the achievement of an organization's strategic goals, ultimately guaranteeing sustainable development. Diversity aims to build an inclusive culture that promotes and enhances the talent of all of an organization's members. Therefore, sustainable human resource management is a challenge in many organizations. In this systematic mapping study, 80 primary studies were identified in the Scopus database, then the selected publications were classified according to their typology, focus, and contribution. This article proposes a different approach based on the cross-sectional analysis of the different dimensions of diversity with the use of cluster analysis. This intersectionality encourages a continuous change of standpoints among different theories, concepts, and categories.
This study emphasizes the history of accountancy, shedding light on its link with artistic and cultural patrimony, an issue that is scarcely addressed but is nearly always a matter underlying the greatest monuments of our civilization. As a case study, this study focuses on one of the significant architectural monuments of the City of Turin: the “Church of Gran Madre di Dio”; which was built to celebrate a historical and political event. Today it is a place of worship, a tourist attraction and a pilgrimage site. The current study corrects, from an accounting and historical perspective, the paucity of knowledge related to the Church of “Gran Madre di Dio”, and it also highlights the social impact its construction had upon the Turin area.
This research proposes an accounting history perspective on "coopetition"-a competitive approach based on cooperation-in the cultural tourism sector. The analysis is based on the International Museums Campaigns proclaimed by UNESCO in 1956 and 1957 and investigates the contribution of the Egyptian Museum of Turin, in the context of the local tourism system, in constructing an event and its related communication campaign. The purpose is to highlight, through accounting documents, the importance of coopetition in stimulating visitors' presence and reaching higher shared socio-economic results.
