ResumenLa biomasa forestal es una fuente de energía renovable que puede ser manejada sustentablemente. Sin embargo, las cosechas sucesivas en plantaciones de alta densidad pueden aumentar la extracción de nutrientes, al compararlas con las plantaciones forestales tradicionales. Por lo anterior, es cuestionable si los conocimientos nutricionales de plantaciones forestales tradicionales podrán ser aplicados en estas plantaciones intensivas. Con el objetivo de evaluar en plantaciones dendroenergéticas la disponibilidad de potasio y boro, en relación con su producción de Forest biomass is a renewable energy source which can be managed sustainably.
