This study discusses the meaning contained in the logo of the Province of Gorontalo in semiotic analysis. Logo is the identity of an institution that represents the history and culture of the institution while semiotics is the science of reading signs both verbally and visually, visual forms make the vision and mission as well as identity reflected in a logo. Just like the regional logo of Gorontalo Province which has various meanings of signs and symbols that reflect the area, for example, the Padi and cotton symbols are inspired by the city government logo which means depicting prosperity and others. There is also an oval pattern in the logo taken from the eggs of the Maleo bird, which is endemic to Gorontalo. There is the fort of Otana and pictures of books taken from our philosophy "adat based on sara', sara' based on the book of Allah. The purpose of the study was to describe and analyze what the meaning of the symbols in the logo of the Gorontalo Province were. The research used semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce. Semiotics departed from three main elements, which Peirce called the triangle theory of meaning, namely: signs, objects, and interpretants. The meaning of the logo can be studied scientifically with semiotic theory. In Peirce's study, symbols are divided into 3 categories: icons, indexes, and symbols. To analyze the meaning of symbols, Peirce uses 3 semiotic terms: representamen which is a symbol, semiotic object which is a real object of symbol reference, and interpretant which states the relationship between representamen and semiotic objects. Benefits of this research To add scientific insight in the field of linguistics, especially to the use of semiotic theory and to find out creative strategies in promotional activities of a government institution so that they can build a brand in the eyes of the public. The results of this study determine the meaning of the signs on the regional symbols of Gorontalo province. Penelitian ini membahas tentang perubahan koreografi tarian Adat Molapi Saronde menjadi tarian Saronde Kreasi yang ada di kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada perubahan yang terjadi pada koreografi tarian molapi saronde menjadi tarian saronde kreasi karena seiring pekembangan jaman tarian yang biasa hanya dilakukan pada acara adat pernikahan di kalangan raja (bangsawan) kini menjadi tarian masyarakat yang bisa di selenggarakan untuk acara hiburan seperti acara penyambutan tamu. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan yang ada pada tarian adat molapi saronde menjadi tarian saronde kreasi serta menganalisis lebih jauh tentang adanya perubahan Gerakan koreografi tarian Molapi Saronde terkait dengan nilai tradisi yang ada di Gorontalo. penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Manfaat Penelitian ini memberikan pengetahuan baru kepada generasi milenial dan wisatawan yang ingin mengetahui makna dari setiap perubahan koreografi yang ada pada tarian Molapi Saronde dan tari Saronde Kreasi. This study aims to examine the Visual Molapi Saronde Dance Dress. The Saronde dance is a typical Gorontalo regional dance that has been inherited and patented as a non-fine heritage. Molapi dance saronde is a dance performed on the engagement night by the groom to see prospective wives. The results of this study are to explain the meaning of the molonde dance clothing starting from materials, clothing colors and motifs as well as the accompanying accessories and explain the meaning of the choreography of the Molapi saronde dance along with creative saronde dance. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique of collecting data is done through observation, interviews, documentation studies and document studies. So, the conclusion of this study is that there is a meaning contained in the molapi saronde dance clothes, one of which is the meaning of headdress, namely Baya lo boute is a special headband for women's hair that gives a symbol, that women who wear it have been bound with a responsibility. As for Saronde dance, it is an innovation from Molapi Saronde dance, but the dance still has meaning or meaning that is maintained and cannot be changed. Although there was a slight change from movement, clothing, and musical accompaniment.
this study aims at discussing the meaning of the motive and the form of the Dulohupa traditional house. The method used in this study was qualitative-descriptive approach as a process of collecting a number of actual data and to get a detailed description of the symbols in the Dulohupa traditional house. The results of this study show that the meaning of the symbol in the Dulohupa traditional house is in the form of a roof made of planks, a staircase consisting of two pieces, the front part is on the part of the door, the wooden pillars and the number of stairs. The roof of the Dulohupa traditional house is shaped like a saddle, which is a two-story triangle roof depicting the population of Gorontalo. The upper roof illustrates the Gorontalo people's belief in the Almighty God, while the lower roof describes the trust of the Gorontalo people in customs and culture. This study concludes that the Dulohupa traditional house has many meanings and symbols that need to be preserved, by knowing the meaning and motives that exist, it is expected that the Gorontalo people respect customs more.

Tarian Saronde adalah tarian daerah khas Gorontalo yang telah diwarisi dan dipatenkan sebagai warisan non-halus. Tari Molapi Saronde adalah tarian yang dilakukan pada malam pertunangan oleh pengantin pria untuk melihat calon istri. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan makna pakaian tari molonde mulai dari bahan, warna pakaian dan motif serta aksesoris yang menyertainya dan menjelaskan makna koreografi dari tarian saronde Molapi bersama dengan tarian saronde kreatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi dokumen. Jadi, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada makna yang terkandung dalam pakaian tari molapi saronde, salah satunya adalah makna hiasan kepala, yaitu Baya lo boute adalah ikat kepala khusus untuk rambut wanita yang memberi simbol, bahwa wanita yang mengenakan itu diikat dengan tanggung jawab. Adapun tarian Saronde, itu adalah inovasi dari tari Molapi Saronde, tetapi tarian itu masih memiliki makna atau makna yang dipertahankan dan tidak dapat diubah. Meskipun ada sedikit perubahan dari gerakan, pakaian, dan iringan musik.
