<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p> </p><p class="11daftarpustaka">Plastik merupakan sampah anorganik yang sulit terurai dan akan terurai dalam kurun waktu puluhan atau ratusan tahun kemudian. <em>Paving block</em> merupakan salah satu bahan bangunan dengan komposisi campuran dari semen portland atau perekat hidrolis lainnya, air dan agregat dengan atau tanpa bahan tambahan lainnya yang tidak mengurangi mutu dari beton tersebut (SNI, 1996). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat mekanik <em>paving block</em> dengan campuran tanah lempung dan limbah plastik dan pengaruh dari jenis plastik yang digunakan terhadap mutu <em>paving block</em> yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kuat tekan tertinggi <em>paving block </em>campuran tanah lempung dan plastik LDPE dengan perbandingan 75% : 25% yaitu 9,59 MPa kuat tekan tertinggi pada campuran tanah lempung dan plastik PP dengan perbandingan 100% : 0% yaitu 9,18 MPa. Jenis plastik yang dipergunakan mempengaruhi mutu <em>paving block</em>. <em>Paving block</em> pada penelitian ini termasuk dalam mutu D dapat digunakan pada konstruksi taman berdasarkan SNI 03-0691-1996.</p><p class="11daftarpustaka"> </p><p>Kata kunci: <em>Plastik, tanah lempung, paving block</em><strong></strong></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p>Plastik is inorganic waste that is difficult to decompose and will decompose within tens or hundreds of years later. Paving block is a building material with a mixed composition of portland cement or other hydraulic adhesives, water and aggregates with or without other additives that do not reduce the quality of the concrete. This study aims to determine the mechanical properties of paving blocks with a mixture of clay and plastik waste and the effect of the type of plastik used on the quality of the paving blocks produced. The results showed that the highest compressive strength value of paving blocks mixed with clay and LDPE plastik with a ratio of 75%: 25%, namely 9.59 MPa, the highest compressive strength was in a mixture of clay and PP plastik with a ratio of 100%: 0%, namely 9.18 MPa. . The type of plastik used affects the quality of paving blocks.
