In Malaysia, the COVID-19 outbreak reported day-by-day positive carrier statistic increasing that force government action to impose movement control order (MCO); Malaysian stay at home to stop the virus from spreading fast. The MCO affects the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies undergraduate students who are just starting a new semester in the week fourth to stay at home while learning activities continue using Online Distance Learning (ODL) mode. The implications of online learning are the concern of university as a teaching method that is expected to improve students' academic performance by enhancing computer/Internet literacy competency (CIL), selfdirected learning (SDL), and motivation for learning (MOL) level. Does during the COVID-19 outbreak that spark anxiety and panic are suits for ODL activities? A survey conducted (n= 631) among undergraduate students to measure the level of ODL readiness. By using descriptive statistical analysis, this study found that CIL among undergraduate students is at a high level, while SDL and MOL reported at a low level. This study suggests the ARP initiative taken by the lecturer. The ARP refers to attention, recognition, and pressure less. The ODL seems new norms that should not hinder potential interactive learning for best academic performance and to drive excellent achievement. This study highly contributes a new idea to the lecturer, faculty management, the university and HEI as the best practice of ODL in the future.

During the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, it was observed that students faced problems of readiness towards the Open Distance Learning (ODL). It could be said that these issues could reduce students' perceptions with regards to perceived usefulness towards ODL implementations and academic performance. This study expounded a new cluster to measure the readiness with regards to perceived usefulness of ODL implementation: 1) technological readiness, 2) psychological readiness and 3) sociological readiness. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the impact of technological, psychological, and sociological readiness on perceived usefulness of ODL implementation. A survey was conducted on full time undergraduate students (n= 656) in UiTM Melaka (UiTMCM) campus. By using descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that technological and sociological readiness among undergraduate students has a strong significant predictor of perceived usefulness of ODL implementation, while psychological readiness reported no significant predictor on perceived usefulness of ODL implementation. This study has a twofold significance. Firstly, the findings are significant to higher education institutions, especially for developing countries such as Malaysia which has just experienced a full swing of the ODL implementation during the nation's movement control order. Moreover, the findings was essential to the campus Academic Affairs unit to assist academicians and the academics department to present the best approaches in terms of ODL course design, implementation, and measurement to assist students to experience the best processes during ODL teaching and learning situations forced upon them in 2020.

The planned public street demonstration, spark provocation, create drastic social mobility, disseminate defamatory information, and seduction to bring down the individual's reputation, spread fake news, pressure the government through street rallies, and eventually led to drastic changes to the country's socio-politics. Eager to enhance young people's political engagement through social media embedded with integrity values and disseminate moral conduct towards social media communities, this study aims to identify the effect of analysis and evaluation dimension from a media literacy perspective. A total of 388 questionnaires was collected from four universities in Melaka, Malaysia. Data were analysed using SPSS Amos -Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). This study found that analysis and evaluation have a significant and positive influence on the integrity of political participation among young people in social media. This study highlights that young people's engagement in political activities with integrity values can enhance social media's moral conduct among web communities.
