The Village Literacy Model Development Program to Increase Motivation in Education and Community Reading Interest was carried out in Kolam Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. Pond Village has been a major partner since the 2017 program and is supported by other partners such as Posyandu, Karang Taruna, schools in Kolam Village. By building a broad partnership, it is hoped that during the three years the program runs, UPBJJ Open University in Medan will be able to turn the Village Pool into a Literacy Village where the community becomes literate and knowledge literate, thereby increasing the motivation of educating to tertiary institutions. Thus the development and development of human resources (HR) in the Village Pool will increase in the future. This program continues the program achievements in 2017 and 2018 ago. During the implementation of the 2019 National PkM, various activities have been carried out, including providing assistance for renovation of the Pool Village library space, providing mobile assistance for Pool Village library equipment, and providing bookshelves, building information media and literacy campaigns, facilitating book publishing a collection of children's stories, and the launch of the Village Pool as a Village of Literacy.
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar mata kuliah Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah bagi mahasiswa Program S1 PGSD di Universitas Terbuka, dengan memasukkan materi hak anak, perlindungan anak, kekerasan terhadap anak, dan sekolah ramah anak. Penelitian ini menghasilkan modul bahan ajar yang diberi nama Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah Ramah Anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian multi years yang berlangsung selama dua tahun. Tahun 2014 ini, dilakukan uji coba pembelajaran dan materi bahan ajar Bahan Ajar Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah Ramah Anak yang telah ditemukan di tahun pertama, melakukan evaluasi dan revisi terhadap bahan ajar dan model pembelajaran MBSRA yang dikembangkan. Data penelitian hasil belajar dan penilaian mahasiswa terhadap bahan ajar MBSRA dikumpulkan melalui tes dan instrumen. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa dalam menjawab soal-soal pada bahan ajar MBSRA adalah 90,14 atau nilai A. Sementara itu, hasil penilaian mahasiswa terhadap bahan ajar Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah Ramah diperoleh hasil 94,91% , mahasiswa menilai bahan ajar MBSRA dengan kategori baik sampai dengan sangat baik Kata kunci: bahan ajar, manajemen berbasis sekolah, sekolah ramah anak. This study aimed to find out the tutorial perception of students, teacher and headmaster of elementary school, about the management based on school which is familiar with children and children's rights, evaluation, learning material and tutorial process on learning management based on school (MBS), arrangingthe material concept and instructional model in open university (UT). This study was conducted in elementary school located in Sei Balai sub-district, Batubara regency, the province of North Sumatera. It observed the students of PGSD, lecturer, teachers and headmaster. The steps used in conducting this resign to the teaching material UT is Dick and Carrey model. The result of this research is tutorial's perception, university students, teachers and the headmaster to the modul MBS UT : (a) Good enough but it is unuseful due to the school otonomy is not specificlyimplemented to state elementary school, (b) MBS material according to students is needed to be added with school management related to HAM and children protection, (c) Most of the teachers said that they need to know about school management which are familiar to children, (d) a suitable tutorial system in an opened learning university (UT) that its instructional process management school based lesson tends to have eight times meeting tutorial, and there is no assignment given thus the students do observation about practising MBS at school, (e) Material learning MBS in opened learning university (UT) needs to be modified with the six moduls, but it is more than 15 learning activities. Then it has 18 learning activities by adding the learning material about school which are familiar to the children, children's rights and children management.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model think pair share berbantuan maple terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi fungsi invers. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif berbentuk quasi experiment. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STMIK Royal yang berjumlah 526 orang yang terkelompok menjadi 17 kelas. Penentuan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan cara teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 64 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas meliputi satu kelas eksperimen (model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan maple) terdiri dari 32 mahasiswa dan satu kelas kontrol (model pembelajaran student team achievement division) terdiri dari 32 mahasiswa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes uraian sebanyak lima butir soal. Instrument tes telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum diberikan kepada sampel. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa p value sebesar 0,003 < 0,005 sehingga diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,05 pada hasil belajar fungsi invers antara mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen dan siswa pada kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran matematika pada fungsi invers dengan menggunakan model think pair share berbantuan maple secara empiris terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa pada materi fungsi invers. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah banyaknya mahasiswa yang tidak dapat lulus tepat waktu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui apa sajakah faktor penghambat penyelesaian studi mahasiswa program S1 PGSD Universitas Terbuka. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa program Studi PGSD yang belum menyelesaikan studi tepat waktu. Sampel diambil dengan cara random sampling dengan mempertimbangkan presentasi secara proposional dari setiap Kab/Kota yang dipilih sehingga mencapai 200 mahasiswa. Kab/Kota yang dipilih adalah Asahan, Batubara dan Tobasa. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan kuesioner/pertanyaan kepada responden Program Studi PGSD S-1 yang belum menyelesaikan studinya sampai batas waktu yang ditentukan sesuai Kurikulum S1 PGSD. Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis data diperoleh bahwa selain faktor karakteristik mahasiswa ada beberapa faktor lain yang menjadi penghambat penyelesaian studi mahasiwa S1 PGSD UPBJJ-UT yaitu motivasi belajar mahasiswa, cara belajar mahasiswa dan layanan UT. Rata-rata skor dari seluruh variabel termasuk dalam kategori baik.
