Food is the main need for humans, so the food business is growing, one of which is catering business. With the catering business it is increasingly easier for people to provide food needs at certain meetings or events. In carrying out its business, entrepreneurs must create different advantages to attract consumer interest. One effort to make the catering business run smoothly is by predicting the amount of income. One of the methods that can be used to solve this problem is the fuzzy Tsukamoto method. Where in this study using 3 variables, namely the ordering variable (X) has a few and many fuzzy sets, the price variable (Y) has an affordable and low set, and the income variable (Z) has a low and high set. The calculation results from the prediction of the amount of income that will be obtained by Sumatra culinary catering with 400 orders and the price of Rp. 13,000 is 4,620,000 per week.
Malnutrition is a poor health condition in infants and toddlers caused by a lack of nutritional intake. Babies and toddlers who suffer from malnutrition will experience conditions of slowness in development, slowness in thinking, underweight and so on. Malnutrition can be prevented by complete immunization from birth, providing good nutrition for their development, and so on. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the grouping of provinces with the highest malnutrition sufferers using the K-Medoids method which is part of Data Mining. The K-Medoids method is a clustering method that can break the dataset into several groups. In this study, the data used were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency in 2016 – 2018. The results of this clustering will later show the province which is the toddler with the highest malnutrition. This research is expected to provide information for the government regarding the grouping of children under five with malnutrition in Indonesia.
One of the food processing business that is much in demand by the community now is the laughing bread. The business that sells laughter bread products, Roti Ketawa Pelangi, is located in Jalan Sangnawaluh, the city of Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra province, where entrepreneurs in the Rainbow Laughter Bread are still having difficulty in determining the sales results for a week. This study aims to resolve the above problems by recommending a method. The method used in this study is the Sugeno fuzzy method. Data collection techniques conducted by researchers is a technique of direct interviews with an employee who is responsible for the business. In this study, the authors used 3 criteria including price, production, and sales. The results of this study are expected to provide input to business owners so they can count sales during the week.
