The morbidity rate is one indicator to measure the degree of health. In 2015, the morbidity rate for the elderly in Indonesia was 28.62%. However, the percentage of urban elderly morbidity rate of 26.89%. This study aims to determine factors related to the utilization of health services by the elderly in the Public Health Service Area in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. The research design is quantitative with a across sectional study. The population in this study is elderly who are life in the Public Health Service Area in Koto Tangah District. The number of the population is 3901 elderlies aged 60 years. The sample number is 94 elderlies. The results of the research showed 44.7% of the elderly did not utilize health services. 34.0% of the elderly with a lack of knowledge, 12.8% of the elderly do not have health insurance, and 40.4% of the elderly have a lack of perception about illness. The statistical test obtained the knowledge and perception of illnes, p value are 0,000 respectively but health insurance ownership p value is 0,184. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and perception of illness to the utilization of health services. There is no significant relationship between health insurance ownership to utilization of health services.
Pada era pandemi Covid-19 saat ini, masyarakat dituntut untuk mengurangi aktivitas di luar rumah yang mempengaruhi ekonomi para pedagang. Secara nasional dampak ekonomi dari pandemi covid-19 telah menurunkan omset penjualan pelaku usaha, usaha besar, UMKM dan pedagang kaki lima hingga 80 persen. Kualitas hidup dipengaruhi oleh kondisi fisik individu, psikologis, tingkat kemandirian serta hubungan individu dengan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas hidup pedagang kaki lima dalam kondisi covid 19 di Kecamatan Bukit Raya Tahun 2021. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dalam mengumpulkan data atau fakta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di daerah Simpang Tiga Kecamatan Bukit Raya Kota Pekanbaru pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Juli 2021. Informan penelitian adalah pedagang kaki lima yang berjualan ditempat-tempat umum. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesehatan PKL selama pandemi Covid-19 baik-baik saja, meskipun terdapat flu dan batuk, aspek psikologis PKL selama pandemi Covid-19 merasa cemas dan khawatir dikarenakan sepi konsumen dan sulitnya berjualan selama pandemi Covid-19, hubungan sosial PKL semakin mengurangi interaksi antar sesama pedagang dikarenakan harusnya menjaga physical distance antar semua khalayak yang ditemui dan aspek lingkungan sebagian sarana berjualan yang digunakan PKL yaitu tenda dan gerobak, bahkan kebersihan disekitar dagangan tidak baik. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai kualitas hidup PKL di tempat yang berbeda sehingga diperoleh hasil penelitian yang lebih bervariatif. Posyandu is one form of Community Based Health Efforts (UKBM) managed from, by, for and with communities, to empower and provide convenience to the public in obtaining basic health services. Korong Sungai Jilatang has two Posyandu facilities with the number of infants and toddlers approximately 90 people. The results of interview with cadres, it is known that the cadre lacks basic knowledge about health as well as less skilled in providing counseling. Since 2009, cadres in these two posyandu have never received any refresher. The purpose of dedication is to optimize posyandu in Korong Sungai Jilatang, improve cadre skills in anthropometry measurement, improve cadre skill in motivating mother to come to posyandu and do counseling to mother of toddler. Techniques of the implementation of this devotional activity by lecture, discussion and training and followed by evaluation. The result of this devotion activity is increasing knowledge, attitude and skill of cadre in management of Posyandu. The high level of participation of program partners in the extension program, anthropometric measurement training and KMS/KIA book filling went well. This program was able to produce the outcomes expected by this community service program. Based on the results of this activity the following suggestions may be given to varied activities in posyandu to encourage mothers to bring their babies and babies to posyandu such as the availability of simple games that can be made from locally available resources. Should be changed position in the stages of activity, for example in this month activity doing registration activity, at posyandu next in the weighing section so that cadres do not experience boredom and still able to train skill.
