The school headmaster is at the forefront in cooperating to build human relation at school as well as its surrounding environment. Harmonious relation should be planned and implemented by the school headmaster as the top leader. The school headmaster is a leader, and a teacher is a colleague and a friend at work. In school management, headmaster-teacher relation is a mutual relation in making efforts to achieve a better quality of school management. This article uses naturalistic phenomenological approach by studying events in certain situations. The article discusses leadership management of the school’s headmaster who used human relation approach in solving problems. The headmaster also analyses some important problem-solving methods at the school by using a guided method towards human relation values, religions, personality, cross-check of facts, friendship, and polite conversation with lean voice. Hubungan harmonis harus dirancang dan dilaksanakan oleh kepala sekolah sebagai top leader. Kepala sekolah adalah pemimpin dan guru adalah rekan dan sahabat kerja. Dalam pola manajemen sekolah hubungan antar kepala sekolah dan guru adalah partner saling melengkapi dalam penataan sekolah yang lebih bermutu dan berkualitas. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi naturalistis dengan studi peristiwa saat situasi tertentu. Lokasi penelitian adalah SDI Hikmatul Fadhillah Medan. Artikel membahas tentang manajemen kepemimpinan kepala SDI Hikmatul Fadhillah Medan yang menggunakan human relationship pada pemecahan masalah dan menganalisis cara memecahkan masalah penting di lingkungan SDI Hikmatul Fadhillah Medan dengan menggunakan metode terarah, pada nilai-nilai human relationship, agamis, personal, kros-cek fakta, persahabatan atau pertemanan, dan tutur sopan dengan suara lembut. Islam sets the roles and relationship between husband and wife in the family in a balanced manner to create sakinah, mawadah, and rahmah (peaceful, loving, and compassionate) family. A lot of people often underestimate the role of a wife in a family. This paper examined the Masturah (rather than putting Arabic words, it would be better to write the meaning of the Masturah) as the education program for wife in the family of Tablighi Jamaat in Temboro village, Magetan, East Java, Indonesia. This research used a qualitative approach where the data were collected, applying interviews with various family members of the Tablighi Jamaat. The research results show that the Masturah is a closed and private education strategy for a wife (the Masturah) in the families of Tablighi Jamaat, which is performed in the house with religious training and practice. Second, the purpose of the Masturah is to prepare the role of wife as mu’allimah and muta’alimah, daiyah, and a’bidah (teacher and student, preacher, and worshiper). Third, the Masturah helps to increase Iman (the belief in Allah (the practice in worship, appreciation in practicing Islamic religion, improving the knowledge in Islamic teaching, and the increase of motivation in religion and preaching. This research has implications for the importance of religious education for wives to support their husbands' da'wah activities and children's education at home.
The managerial expertise possessed by school principal, such as the ability to lead, to actuate, to plan and to interact with his/her subordinates is a major factor in achieving the success of the planned programs. School principals should be able to develop a high level of cooperation and work ethic among their subordinates. This article aims to analyse the types of school principal’s managerial expertise and the work ethihc of the teaching staff at State Senior High School 2 Lhoknga, Aceh Besar. The qualitative data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The result shows that the managerial expertises of the principal of State Senior High School 2 Lhoknga includes skills as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader and motivator. The implementation of the expertise went well in accordance with the existing duties, from the planning to the evaluation process. However, the work ethic of the teaching staff has not been running optimally due to two factors, i.e., (1) internal factor which relates to cultural diversity and various; educational-economy-social background; and (2)External factor which relates to wages, work climate, inculcation of attitudes, and time owned by the educational staff.
Dayah merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang masih eksis di Aceh. Sebagaimana pesantren di Jawa, dayah menghadapi persaingan ketat dengan lembaga-lembaga pendidikan formal lain, seperti sekolah, madrasah, atau perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kepemimpinan teungku dayah (Abu MUDI Mesra Samalanga) dalam pengembangan peran dayah di era modern. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang memadukan antara kajian pustaka dan penelitian lapangan di Dayah MUDI Mesra Samalanga Bireun Aceh. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa (1) otoritas kepemimpinan Abu MUDI adalah karismatik yang bersumber dari sikap istiqomah dalam menjalankan ajaran Islam sehingga menjadi teladan dalam pengamalan syari'ah, (2) tipe kepemimpinan Abu MUDI adalah karismatik-visioner yang memiliki visi mengembangkan peran dayah di era modern dengan mendirikan Ma'had Aly dan IAI Al-Aziziyah agar alumni dayah selain menjadi teungku juga dapat berperan lebih luas di tengah-tengah masyarakat, seperti menjadi pegawai di instansi pemerintah karena memiliki ijazah formal dari perguruan tinggi.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IV SD Negeri 43 Sungai Sapih Kota Padang tahun akademik 2018/2019 . Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa / siswa kelas IV sebanyak 60 orang, teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Dalam hal ini kelas eksperimen adalah kelas IV A sedangkan kelas kontrol kelas IV B. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, kesetaraan rata-rata, homogenitas, dan hipetosis dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 17.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together memiliki rerata 83,41 hasil belajar dan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional memiliki hasil belajar rata-rata 75,90, dan hasil uji hipotesis sebesar 0,049 atau <0,05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IV SD Negeri 43 Sungai Sapih Kota Padang.
