Didalam suatu keluarga, umumnya selalu diterapkan nilai dan norma sosial guna membentuk dan mencapai keluarga yang sejahtera. Salah satu tujuan wanita di Desa Mekarjaya memilih bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja wanita adalah agar dapat hidup lebih baik. Seperti kondisi finansial yang tidak cukup mendukung dalam kesejahteraan keluarga dan benar-benar ingin membantu suami dalam mencari nafkah serta memenuhi kebutuhan salah satunya adalah pendidikan anak. Gaya hidup anak keluarga TKW di Desa Mekarjaya berbeda dengan gaya hidup anak yang bukan keluarga TKW, hal tersebut terlihat dari pergaulan dan tingkah lakunya sehari-hari didalam masyarakat. Keluarga yang ditinggalkan sosok ibu tidak luput dari berbagai permasalahan, salah satunya adalah gaya hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai faktor yang melatarbelakangi gaya hidup anak keluarga TKW di Desa Mekarjaya. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat faktor yang melatarbelakangi gaya hidup anak keluarga TKW yaitu faktor yang berasal dari dalam individu itu sendiri (internal) dan faktor yang berasal dari luar diri individu (eksternal). Adapun diantara faktor internal meliputi sikap, pengalaman dan pengamatan, kepribadian, konsep diri, motif dan persepsi. Sedangkan faktor eksternal diantaranya yaitu kelompok referensi, keluarga, kelas sosial serta kebudayaan.
Sexual harassment frequently occurs in educational institutions such as colleges. The issue is exposed on the internet or reported directly by the authorized party. However, these reports lead society tendentiously to blame the victim. The victim-blaming phenomenon in sexual harassment cases particularly, when the victim object is female college students effecting them feeling frustrated, and scared, and even their rights as the victim cannot be obtained at all. This form of attribution of victims of violence often spurs the emergence of a victim mentality for victims of the stigma attached to dualism, as victims as well as contributing to the occurrence of violent events that befell them (the perpetrator). These things cause the victims to prefer remaining silent, than to reveal the case that has been going through due to worrying to be blamed. This research aims to figure out how the victim-blaming phenomenon happens to the victim of sexual harassment based on gender in educational institutions to provide policy recommendations to protect the victim and also for the student organization or the college. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive by utilizing triangulation data sources as data validation for the research approach. Data is obtained by documentation, field study, and depth interview with the victim of sexual harassment and policy experts from the college by using purposive sampling. Data analysis is performed together with the collecting data process by using qualitative techniques consisting of data reduction, display data, and conclusion. The result of this study shows that the student organization and college can role to form some preventive efforts on the victim-blaming phenomenon which can be implemented through a program or activity that is carried out online or offline.
The low scientific literacy of Indonesian students attracts the attention of Indonesian education practitioners to continue researching the right solution to overcome it. With the help of multi-representation interactive multimedia, this research facilitated students to learn actively and independently. The aim of this research was to develop multi representation-based interactive multimedia (MRIM) to improve students' scientific literacy skills. The research method is research and development with 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), and data analysis using Paired t-test. The define stage for problem identification and analyzing needs, we involved a sample of 30 students from 8th grade and 2 science teachers. At the design stage, a multimedia framework and scientific literacy instruments were created. In the develop stage, multimedia was tested on 1 lecturer as a reviewer, and 3 teachers, and then the media was tested on a small group, consisted of 7 students of 7th grade of SMPQT Al-Hamidiyah with random selection. And at the disseminate stage, all data that has been processed is then written in the form of articles which will then be published. The results of the expert judgment test stated that the multimedia is feasible to use, while the small group test results showed that this multimedia can improve students' scientific literacy skills with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 (based on the results of the paired t-test). In conclusion, this interactive multimedia is very suitable for use in learning and can improve students' scientific literacy skills
