ResumoObjetivo: Analisar o perfil clínico-epidemiológico dos pacientes com disfunção temporomandibular atendidos em uma Clínica Escola em Anápolis-GO. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo, de pacientes atendidos no período de agosto de 2013 a julho de 2014 na Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia (CEF) na cidade de Anápolis, Goiás. Os dados coletados foram sexo, idade, ocupação, queixa principal, presença de ruídos na ATM, limitação de abertura mandibular, presença e hábitos parafuncionais e dor na ATM e/ou movimentos mastigatórios. Os dados foram tabulados em planilha Excel analisados descritivamente e expressos em média desvio padrão e percentagens. Resultados: Dos 30 prontuários selecionados 15 foram incluídos na pesquisa por preencherem os critérios de inclusão, sendo 14 (93%) do sexo feminino, compreendendo uma média de idade de 38±15 anos. Destes 5(33%) eram profissionais do lar, 3 (20%) autônomo, 3 (20%) estudante, 2 (13%) costureira, professor 1 (7%) e aposentado 1 (7%). A principal queixa relatada pelos pacientes foi dor 14 (93%), sendo 9(60%) dor na ATM e 5 (40%) dor nos músculos mastigatórios. The main complaint reported by the patients was pain 14 (93%), 9 (60%) pain in the TMJ and 5 (40%) pain in the masticatory muscles. The main alterations found in TMJ were: 13 (86%) noises, 5 (33%) limitation of mandibular opening and pain 14 (93%). The parafunctional habits were present in 15 (100%) of the patients. Conclusions: In our studies, females were the most affected by temporomandibular disorders, occurring in the third decade of life. Pain was the factor that led patients to seek treatment. Among the alterations found, the parafunctional habits were determinant for the appearance of the clinical picture in which the patient was.
