This paper describes the development of a frequency set-on oscillator that will sustain oscillations set up by an instruction pulse injected into the circuit. These oscillations are set-up at the modal frequency closest to the frequency of the instruction pulse injected, where the spacing of the modes is determined by the delay time. Seven modes of oscillation in the frequency range 9.85 to 10.05 GHz were achieved with an output power of 13 dBm employing a delay line of 50 nS, giving a modal spacing of 20MHz.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
