This paper presents a study employing nudge psychology to reduce burglary of properties in the twelve most victimised streets in the UK City of Durham. A bespoke survey was developed first, to raise residents' awareness of the high burglary rate, and second, to nudge them into reflecting on their burglary prevention behaviour. The findings showed that a majority of residents were not previously aware that they were residing on one of 12 most burgled streets in the City of Durham and that they stated that they would adopt more security conscious burglary prevention behaviours as a consequence of taking-part in the survey. Fewer burglaries were recorded in the 12 streets for the period during and soon after administration of the survey, compared with police recorded burglaries for the same 12 streets for the same period of months in the two years previously. Although the limitations of the present paper are readily acknowledged, as police reported no other burglary related interventions (including targeted 'burglar operations') in the period in question, it is tentatively suggested that the administration of the survey had indeed produced a positive 'nudge effect' on residents' burglary prevention behaviours. The paper concludes with some suggestions for how police might use the data gathered from this approach to develop future burglary prevention initiatives.
Introduction: This case study offers a detailed analysis of the effects of Holographic Kinetics applied to a patient with drug addictions and violent behaviors with a criminal history.Case: A 19 year old male, with a history of violence towards others, killing animals, heroin addiction and incarceration and requested Holographic Kinetics after deciding he did not want to return to high security prison and did not want to die like his sister of an heroin overdose. Results: This patient experienced a significant change in behaviors from his tendencies prior to receiving Holographic Kinetic (HK) treatments. 6 months after the HK session, he has not consumed heroin and stopped killing animals as a hobby. He went back to school to learn fashion and how to start his own business. Conclusion: This case study shows a major potential for two of the biggest problems of our modern societies, criminal behaviors and heroin addiction among our youth.
Introduction: This case study offers a detailed analysis of Autism and the effects of Holographic Kinetics on an Autistic Child with extreme Aggressive Behavioral Disorder. Case: The parents of Will Barker, a 7-year-old boy, suffering from extreme aggressive behavioral disorder and autism, requested Holographic Kinetics after conventional and alternative biomedicines failed to relieve his symptoms. Evaluations were performed to check the status of the child's behavior and obtain a baseline status of his severe aggressive behaviors. Will got diagnosed by doctors, psychologists, and neurologists, with autism, and PDD-NOS, also known as, Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified. All evaluations were repeated pre-post his Holographic Kinetics treatments, using the software Autism Tracker Pro. Results: This patient experienced significant long-term relief from his symptoms after Holographic Kinetics treatments. An analysis of this patient showed more than 80% improvement in both the frequency and intensity of extreme aggressive violent behavioral disorders immediately post treatments and 8 months after treatments. Conclusion: The behavioral response of a patient with Autism and extreme violent aggressive behavioral disorders, who received Holographic Kinetics reflected a measurable improvement in both frequency and intensity of extreme violent behaviors, and a sharp sustainable increase in normal social behaviors, interacting with others during normal activities at school and other social environments. The positive results in this case study could have applications to other pathologies that can be positively affected by the holistic power, efficacy and efficiency of the Holographic Kinetics modality.
