This study aims to overcome the limitations of textbooks. Lesson textbooks often only provide basic material about writing poetry without developing how creative it is. This makes the learners difficult in the process of writing poetry. Therefore, the solution of the problem is to develop poetry writing materials based on the poet's experience to be used in the learning process. This research method is using research and development. Based on the results of the interview can be concluded that the ability to write poetry is determined based on an understanding of the elements and forms of poetry writing as well as poet's experience. The process of writing poetry taken through several stages: (1) seeking ideas based on experience; (2) to process the idea by looking for impression and implied message; (3) deepening into the heart and mind; (4) conduct the process of contemplation and reflection, by living, thinking, feeling and interpreting every event; (5) begin the writing process by concreting the experience; (6) revise the poetry product. The developed teaching materials are presented from the basic competencies of the knowledge and skill competence learning. Based on experiments on teaching materials developed it is known that the average value of the ability to write poetry exceeds the minimum criterion score, so that the teaching materials used have been effective. Teaching materials can help learners learn activities become more independent, get a positive response from the content, appearance, and use of language.
Research conducted to develop drama text teaching materials based on the experience of the author of the drama script aims to make it easier for students to understand drama text material. In addition, based on the author's experience students are expected to emulate the author's creative process in writing a paper. The research method used in this research is the research and development method. Based on the results of the interview it can be concluded that the ability to write drama is determined based on mastery of the elements of drama and the ability to develop stories based on the author's experience. The process of writing drama is done in several steps: (1) searching for ideas based on personal experience, other people, or the surrounding environment; (2) processing ideas to find plots (characters), characters or characters that vary with their inner conflicts, settings and dialogues, interesting conflicts, and messages to be conveyed; (3) starts the process of writing drama with stages and elements of drama; (4) revision of drama products. Teaching material developed is presented from basic competencies of knowledge and basic competencies of learning skills. Based on experiments on developed teaching materials it is known that the average value of the ability to write plays gets a score exceeding the minimum criteria, so that the teaching materials used are effective. Based on observations it is known that teaching materials can help students in learning and student activities become more independent, and active.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kajian unsur pembangun dan nilai moral cerita pendek yang terkandung dalam antologi 20 tahun cerpen pilihan kompas untuk kepentingan pemanfaatan bahan ajar pembelajaran cerita pendek di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk data kajian unsur pembangun cerpen dan nilai moral. Implementasi bahan ajar cerita pendek dalam pembelajaran cerpen dinyatakan dalam uji-t sebagai berikut, jika thitung> dari ttabel maka perolehan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen dapat dipercaya sebagai hasil pembelajaran yang menggunakan antologi 20 tahun cerpen pilihan kompas, bahan ajar tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar cerpen terbukti dengan adanya perubahan.
This research is aimed at obtaining appropriate teaching based on the student's cultural background to help ease their difficulties in learning short stories. Folklore has a good deed and is close to the students' life, and therefore it is suitable to be implemented as teaching material. This research gathers all folklores through interviews and documentation studies.Structures and values of folklores are analyzed qualitatively to find out the folklores based on some determined criteria. Selected folklores are applied as developed teaching material and the use of language is adapted according to 2013 Curriculum. Based on some validity tests as well as learning trials conducted by some experts and practitioners, the developed teaching materials are applicable. It can be seen from the students' enthusiasm telling their own folklores; dynamic learning activities, positive responses to comprehend, to speak, to read, and to write short stories whose ideas are developed from the folklore values, and the learning outcomes are considered effective.
