The Learning Curriculum needs to keep up with the times so the academic texts in it need to be updated. The research explains the concept of curriculum development and Islamic education learning with a contextual approach. This study uses the type of library research (Library Research). This research was conducted by conducting an in-depth analysis of various sources relevant to the issues to be discussed. Data collection was carried out by collecting reference books, scientific journals, and e-book online media information. The results of the study stated that several things such as the curriculum and the development of Islamic education learning must be returned to their philosophical roots with consideration of supporting and inhibiting factors for success. Factors that must be considered are curriculum content, curriculum implementation models, and curriculum evaluation tailored to the needs of students, the world of work, and society. To realize this, PAI teachers must be able to apply a contextual approach by following the principles of constructivist learning, implementing active learning strategies, and using sophisticated technological media and facilities.
The problem of developing professional competency among teachers through scientific works is still a major issue in Indonesia. The difficulty in writing academic papers has not yet found a proper solution in every educational institution. The purpose of this activity is to provide assistance in the form of Scientific Writing training to the teachers of State Madrasah Tsanawiyah and State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Singkawang City. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and writing practices. The training was conducted offline at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hall in Singkawang, with 25 participants from State Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Ibtidaiyah in Singkawang City. The results showed that after the training, 100% of the madrasah teachers had conceptual knowledge of writing scientific papers well. Their writing ability improved by 70% after understanding the concept of academic writing, with a writing completion rate of 85%, and further follow-up is needed in online mentoring sessions. There are seven articles from teachers ready for review and publication, and two articles are ready for publication. Masalah pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru melalui karya ilmiah masih menjadi isu utama di Indonesia. Kesulitan penulisan karya ilmiah belum menemukan solusi yang tepat di setiap lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan bantuan berupa pelatihan Karya Tulis Ilmiah kepada para guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri di Kota Singkawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, dan praktik menulis. Pelatihan dilakukan secara luring di Aula Kementerian Agama Singkawang, dengan peserta 25 orang dari Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri dan Ibtidaiyah Kota Singkawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelatihan, 100% guru madrasah memiliki pengetahuan konseptual menulis karya ilmiah dengan baik. Kemampuan menulis mereka meningkat 70% setelah memahami konsep penulisan akademik, dengan tingkat penyelesaian menulis 85%, dan tindak lanjut lebih lanjut diperlukan dalam sesi pendampingan online. Ada tujuh artikel dari guru yang siap direview dan dipublikasikan, dan dua artikel siap dipublikasikan.
This study offers explicitly new knowledge about socialization and internalization of religious values that form noble morals, which are solutions to prevent malicious behavior in the younger generation. This study uses a sociological approach with a qualitative narrative. Data were collected using interviews and observations; the primary data sources were religious leaders, youth community leaders, and youth in the village of Kampung Jawa Tengah. The analysis was carried out from entering the research field, data reduction, and verification. At the same time, the data validity technique used triangulation and member checks. This research concludes the first two things that deviant behavior such as stealing, drinking, drugs, and gambling have still occurred in the village of Kampung Jawa Tengah in the last three years; the trigger factors are poverty, unemployment, and weak parental control. The educational model, which is a strategy to prevent deviant behavior, is strengthening religious knowledge through various activities and strengthening tolerance attitudes in adolescents through arts and sports activities so that empathy grows to participate in avoiding criminal behavior among teenagers.
Books are the main tool for humans as a means of information and research for human education. The position of textbooks is considered important in the learning process, because books are included as learning resources and learning materials for students in the learning process. The existence of textbooks in Indonesian educational practice is still the main source of learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriateness of the content and language according to the National Education Content Standards for the textbooks for building aqidah morals for the first grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Curriculum 2013. This study used a qualitative method with a normative and empirical approach. The data obtained are in the form of government regulations, books, and textbooks. The results of the study stated that overall the material had met the requirements of the National Education Content Standards for accuracy, both from the content aspect and the references used which led to the achievement of KI and KD. In the aspect of language feasibility, this textbook is in accordance with the standards, because it is in accordance with the level of development of students, simple, effective, and efficient.Keywords: Content Feasibility; Textbook; Content standards; 13 curriculum AbstrakBuku adalah alat utama bagi manusia sebagai sarana informasi dan riset untuk pendidikan manusia. Buku teks pelajaran kedudukannya dianggap penting dalam proses pembelajaran, karena buku termasuk ke dalam sumber belajar dan bahan belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Keberadaan buku ajar dalam praktik pendidikan Indonesia masih merupakan sumber belajar yang paling utama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan isi dan bahasa menurut Standar Isi Pendidikan Nasional terhadap buku teks bina akidah akhlak siswa kelas I Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatif dan empiris. Data yang didapat berupa peraturan pemerintah, buku, dan buku teks. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa secara keseluruhan materi telah memenuhi syarat Standar Isi Pendidikan Nasional keakuratan, baik dilihat dari aspek isi maupun rujukan yang digunakan yang mengarah pada tercapainya KI dan KD.
