Changes in tourist behavior encourage the Indonesian tourism industries to adapt to the era of industrial revolution. Tourism 4.0 becomes a new competitive advantage in winning tourism competition in the global market. The purpose of this study is to describe E-WOM in the context of tourism 4.0. To collect data, an online survey was addressed to 113 respondents. Our findings lead to a conclusion that tourism industries should strive to develop digital products so to influence consumer purchase decisions.
<p class="0abstract"><strong>Abstract—</strong> Information technology encourages various forms of organizations to always adapt to changes so that they can sustain their business for a long time. Higher education institutions are organizational entities required to use information technology to support existing business processes. This study aims to examine the extent to which information technology resources have an influence on innovation performance in higher education. Quantitative research methods are used to determine this influence by involving 97 respondents who work in higher education institutions in Garut, Indonesia, besides processing and modeling research using SmartPLS. The results of the analysis show that information technology resources have an essential role in creating innovation performance improvement in higher education institutions, especially in terms of product innovation. The research was conducted only at private universities in Garut Regency. Therefore, further research involving universities in a nationwide scope is recommended. The results of this study imply that it is necessary for universities, which are expected to be ready for changes, to involve information technology in the creation of innovation in order for them to survive. The effect of information technology resources on the performance of innovation in private universities in Garut Regency has never been studied before; therefore, we consider that our study provides a novel contribution to the field.</p>
All business entities, including private universities, have always to deal with changes in their environment. One of the keys to address such changes is digital technology. The present study examines the extent to which corporate culture affects the implementation of a digital transformation strategy in private universities. Data were collected through a survey addressed to 39 top management executives from different private universities in Garut, West Java, Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out by means of SmartPLS. The results showed that corporate culture in private universities had a significant effect on the implementation of digital transformation strategy in their organizations. This is associated with factors other than technological aspects such as human resources, behavior, and organizational culture.
Permasalahan yang ada di dalam organisasi akan mengahambat tujuan organisasi, maka organisasi perlu menciptakan strategi untuk meningkatkan perilaku kewargaan organisasi dengan upaya memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah Badan Kepegawaian Daerah. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu sampel tidak jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 103 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS). Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran kecerdasan emosional dalam kategori baik, gambaran kepuasan kerja dalam kategori tinggi.
