With increase in the use of multimedia technology, the integrity of the digital images has become a major problem. The transformation between the soft and hard-copy of the image makes the problem even more complex. This paper proposes a new watermarking technique that is robust against geometrical and print-scan attacks. The method uses multiple domains to embed the message in the image, whereby watermarks are embedded in spatial domain and Fourier log-polar domain. The proposed watermarking technique is able to survive the geometrical, print-scan, and compression attacks. Spatial domain watermark is used to make the method robust against the rotation attack, while Fourier log-polar domain watermark is used to make the method robust against other attacks.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
