Objective: To develop route control strategies of high-speed trains (VSP) at the stations of mixed traffic lines. Methods: The analysis of conditions of VSP safe passing along the current infrastructure was applied. Results: The issues of modernization of running lines by means of RFID-technology at high-speed network (VSM) in case of mixed traffic were considered. The analysis of high speed train running operation was given, the activity of stations at mixed traffic railway lines was described. Moreover, the analysis of implementation features of technological functions of the existing systems of railway automatics and telemechanics (ZhAT) in case of VSD introduction was conducted. The necessity to lengthen signaling spans, in order to provide safe-stopping distance, in case of VSD, was shown as well as to supply the existing systems with the facilities of route availability to fulfill safety requirements. The use of RFID-marks at checkpoints with decision feedback implementation was suggested, in order to select train passing speed rate at the station. Practical importance: The technology of high-speed running safety control at mixed traffic lines with the current ZhAT infrastructure was developed, based on decision feedback organization principle in VSP onboard complex by supplying the latter with the data on routes availability.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
