The number of confirmed cases and deaths due to COVID-19 among health workers is increasing. Health workers have a high risk of being exposed to Covid-19 infection, so compliance with the use of PPE must be considered. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the level of compliance using PPE on the incidence of Covid 19 in health workers. This type of analytic research with a cross-sectional design, the population is 43 health workers, and the sampling technique uses saturated sampling. Methods of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation, data analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that respondents who did not comply with using PPE were mostly confirmed positive for Covid 19 as many as 14 (73.7%) and respondents who complied using PPE were mostly not confirmed positive for Covid 19 as many as 15 (62.5%). There is an effect of the level of compliance using PPE on the incidence of Covid 19 in health workers (P value, 0.040). There should be SOPs for using PPE, policies, and sanctions for the use of PPE, simulation or training in the application of PPE, availability of PPE in good and complete condition, and continuous supervision of compliance with using PPE.
Oral health is an inseparable part of health of other organ systems (systemic health). Limited or inadequate dental care causes the most common problems of all health problems in childhood; those are, tooth decay (dental caries), malocclusion, and periodontal disease. Trauma, especially tooth loss, is also an important problem. (10) According to World Health Organization (WHO) data from the 2016 Global Burden of Disease Study it was estimated that oral disease affected at least 3.58 billion people worldwide. Based on the results of Basic Health Research, there was an increase in the proportion of dental and mouth problems in Indonesia from 2013 to 2018, from a value of 25.9% to 57.8%. Meanwhile, the proportion of daily tooth brushing behavior in the population at the age of ≥ 3 years was 94.7% and the proper behavior of tooth brushing at the age of ≥ 3 years was 2.8%. This was a quasiexperimental study with one group pre-posttest design. Sampling used total sampling technique with a total sample of 24 respondents. The study instrument used was a dental hygiene observation sheet. Analysis of the data used here was Shapiro-Wilk test. Data analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test. The results of this study among Preschoolers Kindergarten, before storytelling showed that 24 children (100%) were categorized to have poor dental hygiene. Whereas the results of the study after storytelling showed that 16 children (66.7%) were categorized to have good dental hygiene. Data obtained from the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test showed a probability value (p-value) of 0.00 (α = 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of storytelling on dental hygiene among preschoolers Kindergarten. Storytelling is an effective communication tool for preschoolers, so it is strongly recommended for parents to do storytelling to provide motivation and information.
In the world of higher education, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. Good quality will give good results as well, to improve the quality of each lecturer, it is necessary to have an award given to lecturers from the campus so that it becomes a motivation for lecturers to improve the quality given to students and the community. Amik Mitra Gama is a private campus located in the Duri Riau area, in this case to improve the quality of education one of the steps taken is to give awards and appreciation to the best lecturers who will be selected every year. To realize this, we need an easy calculation system that is carried out in the form of ranking according to the final value, therefore a decision support system using the ARAS method is chosen because it is very appropriate for the selection process and provides convenience in the calculations which are determined based on ranking. The decision support system using the ARAS method uses 8 criteria that are set as a reference in determining the best lecturers, namely Recent Education, Lecturer Functional Position, Lecturer Certification, Number of Journal Publications, Roles in Research, Journal Publication History, Research Grants, and Community Service. There are 10 lecturers in the field of computers who will be used as alternative data with lecturer codes D01, D02, D03, D04, D05, D06, D07, D08, D09, D10. The results obtained from this study are the lecturer code D04 = 0.0974, D06 = 0.0965, D09 = 0.0932, D07 = 0.0903, D03 = 0.0901 was selected as the best lecturer in 2021/2022. So that the results of this study can help the campus to determine the best lecturers every year fairly and be selected based on rankings.
