Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is considered to be one of the most epidemic diseases in the world today. Predicting CVDs, such as cardiac arrest, is a difficult task in the area of healthcare. The healthcare industry has a vast collection of datasets for analysis and prediction purposes. Somehow, the predictions made on these publicly available datasets may be erroneous. To make the prediction accurate, real-time data need to be collected. This study collected real-time data using sensors and stored it on a cloud computing platform, such as Google Firebase. The acquired data is then classified using six machine-learning algorithms: Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Random Forest Classifier (RFC), Gradient Boost Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) classifier, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes (NB), and Decision Tree (DT). Furthermore, we have presented two novel gender-based risk classification and age-wise risk classification approach in the undertaken study. The presented approaches have used Kaplan-Meier and Cox regression survival analysis methodologies for risk detection and classification. The presented approaches also assist health experts in identifying the risk probability risk and the 10-year risk score prediction. The proposed system is an economical alternative to the existing system due to its low cost. The outcome obtained shows an enhanced level of performance with an overall accuracy of 98% using DT on our collected dataset for cardiac risk prediction. We also introduced two risk classification models for gender- and age-wise people to detect their survival probability. The outcome of the proposed model shows accurate probability in both classes.
Cloud computing (CC) refers to delivering applications, platform used to execute user application and Infrastructure to fulfill user hardware requirement as a service over internet. Virtual Machine (VM) is normally stored on Datacenters who consist of set of physical servers where VM is executing to fulfill service when gets accessed by end user. VM controlled by hypervisor also termed as VM Monitor (VMM). VMM manages VM execution, decides which VM to be selected for migration and how VM to be migrated. VM migration can be done by considering centralize VM migration or distributed approach. Once Migration decision done a caution need to be needed whether a VM to be transferred is free from attack, and the destination where VM is about to migrate is safe to execute on destination server. Considered a VM page is open to attack, it can be compromised by end world, also a destination server.
In the centralized cloud controlled environment, the decision-making and monitoring play crucial role where in the host controller (HC) manages the resources across hosts in data center (DC). HC does virtual machine (VM) and physical hosts management. The VM management includes VM creation, monitoring, and migration. If HC down, the services hosted by various hosts in DC can't be accessed outside the DC. Decentralized VM management avoids centralized failure by considering one of the hosts from DC as HC that helps in maintaining DC in running state. Each host in DC has many VM's with the threshold limit beyond which it can't provide service. To maintain threshold , the host's in DC does VM migration across various hosts. The data in migration is in the form of plaintext, the intruder can analyze packet movement and can control hosts traffic. The incorporation of security mechanism on hosts in DC helps protecting data in migration. This paper discusses an approach for dynamic HC selection, VM selection and secure VM migration over cloud environment.
