Vaccination is a medical prevention that is considered as one of the latest breakthroughs in the world of health because it is preventive so that it can save human lives, especially during the current Covid 19 pandemic. Starting from the new academic year 2021, the government is trying to organize face-to-face learning, one of the conditions for these activities to be carried out properly, it is recommended that students should be vaccinated first. Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif is one of the schools that has held offline learning, but no students have been vaccinated as of September 2021, Group 4 KKN Cikelet village wants to contribute to the success of vaccination for students, one of which is by providing health education where the topic given is the importance of being vaccinated. The activity begins with pre-test, counseling and post-test. The expected output is an increase in students' knowledge about vaccines and the number of students who are willing to be vaccinated so that face-to-face learning can take place safety and well.
This study aims to obtain new adaptive superior varieties, obtain the appropriate number of seeds and produce a combination of technological packages between varieties and the number of suitable seeds to increase productivity lowland rice. The design used was factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor of the variety consisted of Ciherang, Inpari 30 and Inpara 2. The second factor was the use of the number of seeds consisting of 2 stems, 5 stems, 8 stems, and 11 stems. The second combination was 12 treatments, which were repeated 3 times, overall there were 36 trial plots. The results showed that the productivity of Inpara 2 varieties of rice gave an increase in yield of 36.82% harvested dry grain compared to the Ciherang variety which is an existing variety. The use of 2-11 stems is not significant for plant productivity, but only affects the amount of filled grain and the number of grains per panicle, in the treatment of the number of seeds of 8 stems. Inpari 30 varieties with 2 and 5 stems have the highest 1000 grains of 25.89 and 25.81 g, respectively.
The need for maize in West Kalimantan is around 320,000 tonnes per year, most of which is still imported from outside the region. Cultivating the maize under the shade of coconut trees is an alternative to meet the needs of maize in West Kalimantan and hence improvement on the cultivation of maize under the shade of coconut trees should be taken seriously. This study aims to determine the effect of nitrogen (N) fertilizer on the growth and yield of hybrid maize under the shade of coconut trees. The research method used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is maize variety (Nasa 29, Bima 19, Bima 20, JH 21 and Pioneer 35) and the second factor is nitrogen fertilization (64 kg ha-1, 86.5 kg ha-1, 109 kg ha-1, and 131.5 kg ha-) of N, hence 20 treatment combinations are obtained and repeated 3 times. The results showed that the Nasa 29 variety with N fertilizer of 131.5 kg ha-1 produced the highest maize grains yield of 4.8 t ha-1. Therefore the using of Nasa 29 variety with the 131.5 kg ha-1 of N fertilizer is recommended for intercropping system under the shade of coconut trees.
