The article examines and analyzes the main problems (economic, socio-political, demographic, socio-psychological), which determine the peculiarities of the architectural formation of centers of socio-psychological rehabilitation. The main requirements for the architectural formation of social and psychological rehabilitation centers are determined. As a result of the conducted research, it was established that the main problems of the architectural formation of social and psychological rehabilitation centers include: the need of a large number of citizens for social and psychological assistance; insufficient level of funding for the design, construction and operation of social and psychological rehabilitation centers; the emergence of new categories of rehabilitators (military servicemen and civilians who suffered as a result of hostilities), which require a special functional and planning structure and compositional construction of centers of social and psychological rehabilitation; the absence of a significant part of citizens' awareness of the need for their own social integration, psychological support and correction; lack of clear scientifically based recommendations regarding the architectural formation of social and psychological rehabilitation centers. In the course of the study, it was determined that during the development of project solutions for the architectural organization of social and psychological rehabilitation centers, the following requirements must be taken into account: the formation of a multifunctional structure - a combination of many functional blocks that correspond to the leading thematic direction of the rehabilitation center; prioritization of the needs of the target category of users when agreeing on the nomenclature of premises (specific functional features of a certain type of building); the ability of the building of the rehabilitation center for internal re-functioning (transformability of spaces); ensuring conditions for confidential work (demarcation of the building into separate blocks, horizontal and vertical functional zoning, etc.); taking into account the requirements of universal design.
The article examines the problems of creating an accessible architectural environment in Ukrainian cities. The relevance of the study is determined by: a large percentage of people with disabilities in the structure of the population of Ukraine, including people with disabilities, an increase in their number as a result of hostilities; lack of accessibility conditions for low-mobility population groups in most settlements; lack of understanding by society of the complex problem of accessibility; absence at local levels (in local administrations) of a clear algorithm of actions to ensure the accessibility of the architectural and urban planning environment. The purpose of the article is to reveal the role of universal design as a basis for the formation of an accessible architectural environment of modern cities. Universal design is a cost-effective approach, because it meets the needs of all users already at the initial stage of development and design and eliminates future irrational costs. The concept of universal design provides not only architectural accessibility to the building, but also the ergonomics of all elements of the object-spatial environment, the physical and psychological comfort of being in the architectural environment, and promotes the social integration of people with disabilities. Universal design in the field of architecture and urban planning and the formation of an accessible architectural environment is a process that begins with the designer's awareness of his own social responsibility for the formation of the level of comfort of the living environment that people experience throughout their lives, with its orientation to the variety of needs, opportunities and experiences of users. The application of the principles of Universal design and the corresponding architectural and design methods of their implementation are currently the optimal means of adapting the architectural and urban planning environment to the needs and capabilities of all categories of users, including those with limited mobility. The publication analyzes in detail the importance of many specific techniques for the formation of an accessible architectural environment: the absence of stairs, a wide entrance with sliding doors, adaptability of workplace equipment, convenient control panels, presentation of information in an easy-to-understand format (in the form of symbols, icons, infographics), tactile contrasting color coating. The main obstacles on the way to the application of the principles of Universal Design and the formation of an accessible architectural environment of Ukrainian cities are the low level of social awareness of citizens, as well as the insufficient level of funding.
The paper examines the features, main problems and prospects of reorganization of depressed areas in the structure of modern cities of Ukraine. The possibility of a comprehensive solution to the problems of a deficit of territorial resources in the structure of the city and reorganization of the architectural environment of urban depressed areas is analyzed. The definition of the depressed city territory is proposed. A classification of depressed territories is being developed and the main types of depressed territories in large and largest cities of Ukraine are identified: depressed industrial territories (inactive or ineffective) and territories with a complex and disturbed relief. The tasks of reorganizing the architectural environment of depressed territories are determined: socio-economic, ecological and aesthetic (architectural and artistic). The levels of reorganization of the architectural environment of depressed territories (city-wide and local) and the corresponding complex of architectural and urban planning measures are identified. A definition of the concept of the aggregate potential of a depressed territory is given and the main characteristics are identified, according to which it can be assessed. The features of the aggregate potential of various types of urban depressed areas are revealed. The possibilities of their adaptation to new socio-economic conditions and transformation into modern architectural or landscape complexes are analyzed. It is established that the level of the aggregate potential of the depressed territory and the feasibility of their reorganization directly depend on their location in the city structure and the initial functional purpose. A method for assessing the level of the aggregate potential of various types of depressed areas is proposed. This method is based on calculating points that determine the degree of influence of various factors from the general complex of the main characteristics of the architectural environment of a depressed territory. A general scheme for reorganizing the architectural environment of depressed territories in the structure of modern cities is being developed, based on the main theoretical provisions of this study.
Informativeness was analyzed as one of the main ergonomic requirements to the quality of life of low mobility groups. The main functions of the visual information tools are indicated. The principles of the organization of the system for visual communications for low-mobility groups of the population are formulated: complexity, purpose orientation, ease of perception, safety, reliability, economy, and aesthetics. Determined the requirements for visual information that allows people to easily navigate in space ; Be coherent, simple in configuration, well illuminated in the evening and easy to perceive; for visually impaired persons, it is possible to use signs with big letters and place them at a height of 1,5 m above ground level so that they can be felt by hand; determine the location of service establishments; mark entrances to the building and their functional purpose; inform about services and help to choose the shortest ways to move around. Requirements for signboards (their form, color, font, and illumination), dynamic information signs, additional directions on the streets, visual diversity of the recreation zone are given.
