Industrialization & Population explosion over the past decade increases the demand of energy in INDIA. Electricity generation increased by 6.1 % in 2013 -2014 but this is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of country. In last three years power sector lost there momentum in balancing the supply side and demand side constraints. The main future challenge for the country is realize to self sufficiency in energy generation. To achieve this task it is vital to generate a clean energy from the resources. As per the United Nations climate stability, economic growth, and social equality are interconnected with the help of sustainable energy. Due to this paradigm shift takes place in the thought process and decision making of planning authority, which forces the production houses & user to move towards the renewable energy.Being in the tropical region, Indian subcontinent is ideal location to benefit the advantage of utilization and adoption of wind energy and its related technology. These create a need to study the overall installed system for better utilization of renewable energy resource, future planning of energy conservation and environmental balance. This paper illustrate the different aspects for components of generalise wind power system.
